It would be legitimately unfortunate if SMW Central did shut down at some point. So much would be lost from it, all of the posts up until now, the resources specifically here on the site, basically the entire forum community. At the very least all that remains can be viewed through the Wayback Machine, and I'm assuming the Discord server may still be intact so there's also that.
There's got to be a way to prevent this, right? What if we just produce an exact clone of SMWC and cryogenically freeze it until the day the original does get shut down? Maybe we could create a bunch of other clones and tuck them away for safekeeping too.

The shutting down of SMWC would be disheartening, but out of destruction comes creation. Who knows, maybe SMWC's end could lead to an even grander site-- although it isn't ever that easy to do that, and that won't happen.
Here is how everything will play out:
The JUMP team is going to take over SMWC, resulting in a level design rebellion ultimately ending in the complete destruction of the site.

If (let's be real here, it's more of a question of when) SMWC does shut down, I'd just hope it wouldn't be FileFront 2 where all the hosted resources just up and vanish from existence forever

tbh i thought it was already shut down so this is news to me
If SMWCentral shut down, I would just move along like I always have in my life. Though it would be a shame to lose all the resources it has, if any is lost.

I'd also lose all motivation to work on my hack (not much existed in the first place) because I wouldn't really be able to share it with anyone. The website shutting down would also lead to the loss of many useful resources and hacks. Also, ten years worth of forum activity would be gone, not to mention the community wouldn't exist any- oh yeah, the Discord server. Well, what if I don't have Discord?
I do feel like there would be backups of the site.
