Note: As the FG3 is not even really free, I did, however, see to it that the background must be used only for athletic levels.

While this background is very gorgeous, I’m rejecting this because of some serious issues. Before anything, I speak here as someone that rip graphics and tinker with it a lot, but also, I think about the usability for new users in this site.

First one is the palette itself. It’s a mess. Indeed, Kirby backgrounds are gorgeous, but the background uses whooping 5 palette rows. It’s not practical. Even if a user could combine with diferent types of foregrounds, they would be able to use only 3 palette rows.Second, and the most crucial aspect is the usability of this asset. I saw that you tried to give it some use, by adding lines, logs in the GFX from the background, but the background consumes a lot of space with six EXGFX files. Like I mentioned above, what if people want to use a diferent graphics than the vanilla ones from SMW? It restricts level design aesthetically, because users will not have much choice when using it.

Also, I want to talk about some minor stuff:

- The player can’t use water or lava because the backgrounds use that space. Not a rejection reason per se, but that take in account when ripping backgrounds. I recommend avoid editing the tiles from F8 to FF, if you can.

- The same applies to FG1 tiles. I saw that you sacrificed some of them because of the background, but what If the user wanted to use a bill blaster? Again, take that in to account before messing around with FG1 and FG2 stuff.

- The background doesn’t loop properly. It’s a easy fix, the user only need to adjust the background height and scroll, so this is not a rejection reason. But be careful about that.

With that said, the number of palette rows and graphic files need to be reduced drastically and a bit more of optimization could be made. If you manage to solve these issues, then the graphic shall be accepted.
