Tip: Press F2 on the level editor to see subscreen boundaries. This will help you avoid glitching dragon coins by putting them on the subscreen boundaries.

File Name: Mario + Extra Marios
Submitted: by Bytemind
Authors: Bytemind
Type: Original
Purpose: Sprite
Description: This GFX gives you a nice Mario with some few little details.

And there are two ExGFX where koopas and gombas get replaced with Marios.

Here is what you will see

Extra Marios.pal(important)(use only for level palette(recommended)
I'll be rejecting this because of some glaring issues. I'll start with some major issues found with these sprites and player graphics.

Here are the screenshots. While I already commented some issues in the images of IMGUR, I'm still going to point them out in this log and elaborate more.

First one, is that you didn't even edit properly the player graphics. Cape Mario is glitched. Make sure of edit everything if you're gonna submit a player sprite. Make sure of testing everything. Also, you forgot to list "Player" in the purpose field of the graphics. Be careful next time.

Second major issue is that you used the same graphics for the sliding koopa and koopa being kicked out, with the only difference is that you flipped one of them. Please do not do that, because it seems very lazy. Also, they look odd, so I would suggest adjusting it more, because it's a bit inconsistent with the rest of the sprites.

Third issue, please be careful when editing GFX 01. The Jumping Piranha Plant graphics get glitched when I insert the graphics. And it's because the Jumping Piranha Plant uses a blank tile near the Koopa eyes. So it ends using one of "Mario"'s cap tiles. Be careful when making custom sprites for koopas.

Also, the squished koopa graphics look inconsistent with the rest of the sprites. Please fix that too. Speaking of consistency, it would be cool if you included some wing graphics, since the parakoopa and paragoomba sprites look odd with them. This one is not a rejection per se, but be aware of that in future submissions.

The palette needs some adjusments. Why there are blue colors if the sprites themselves don't use them? Also the pink in the last row isn't even used. Also, please make a palmask next time. It's important to not mess up the palette rows that you aren't using. Imagine that people will use these sprites with other graphics, so a palmask is necessary to ensure that the palette doesn't screw up with other stuff that people will use to make their levels.

Now, on to some very minor stuff, It would be better if you renamed EXGFX80 and 81 to GFX00 and GFX01, since it would be easier to identify what slot the graphics should be inserted. Also, I didn't understand why you renamed GFX00 as EXGFX81 and GFX01 as EXGFX80.

With that said, this EXGFX needs a rework before being accepted.
