EDIT: Video editing by Daizo Dee Von. Thank you so much, I would've absolutely never been able to make this video on my own. Sorry for not having credited you before.
Punishment Zone is a kaizo hack that I - and PunishmenTEAM - have been working on for the past four? Months or so. It emerged as a challenge after KLDC; if streamers hate long and gimmicky levels so much, we decided to give them an hour long level where every room has its own crazy gimmick.
We're about halfway done, and aiming to include pretty much everything you can imagine and more. Mode 7 bosses, Mode 2 rooms, only the finest graphical rips and customs, a custom soundtrack, and wacky jokes galore. This trailer should give you a good idea of what to expect.
Well... definitely unique. There seems to be a lot of variety and personality in the project that even if you're not the Kaizo type, you could still enjoy it nonetheless. Good luck on the shit post, sir!
Shitpost or not this projet have such chaotic energy capable of making the third impact. From narration to dnb, everything in the trailer is art. You can see that you are having fun with the project and I have nothing more to say but to encourage you to finish it.
Your video is so big it’s making the page cry. Is it not possible to make the preview smaller?
"If you imitate someone, you can never surpass them."
This is the most wild thing I've ever seen in a SMW hack. It's like a conglomerate of old Japanese hack qualities and imageboard memes living, waging war on my senses. Cheep-chan is something I had to see a few times to process - that is one wtf-tier character. You guys have something special going here. This trailer sets the bar very high. I don't have Kaizo-level playing skills but I would definitely try my best to see everything this has to offer and I want to see streamers get had by it just as bad as I'll be.
Just look above you... If it's something that can be stopped, then just try to stop it!
Now that's some wild stuff over there. In a way it reminds a lot of old video games commercial. I'm not a kaizo player, but since this one looks interesting, I'll give it a chance. I love wacky japanese stuff and the chaotic energy that comes from this trailer. Excellent job, can't wait to play it.
Glad you managed to make a teaser for the hack, being part of it (although my level contribution is rather small) I know it's full of cool and crazy shit so I can't wait to watch people ragequit play it.
