EDIT: Fixed missing sample folder for Wacky Workbench (thank you, Green Jerry!)
EDIT: Fixed Launch Base Zone Act 1 and Blue Spheres (thank you, brickblock369!)
UPDATE: There'san TWO additional ports now!
hi
I've been porting a lot of things over the past 6 months, and I'm glad to show off and/or dump27 28 29 + 1 ports of the lightly-sampled and unsampled variety. There's a lot of Sonic music in there since I've been on a Sonic kick lately, but there's some other miscellaneous things as well! Of note is the entirety of the Sonic CD past songs.
Here's the list of New™ ports:
Sonic Robo Blast 2 - Arid Canyon Zone Act 1
Sonic Robo Blast 2 - Meadow Match Zone
Sonic Robo Blast 2 - Invincibility
Sonic 3 & Knuckles - Angel Island Zone Act 2
Sonic 3 & Knuckles - Hydrocity Zone Act 2
Sonic 3 & Knuckles - Launch Base Zone Act 1
Sonic 3 & Knuckles - Sky Sanctuary Zone
Sonic 3 & Knuckles - Special Stage (Blue Spheres)
Sonic the Hedgehog - Green Hill Zone
Sonic the Hedgehog - Marble Zone
Sonic the Hedgehog - Scrap Brain Zone
Sonic the Hedgehog - Special Stage
Sonic Triple Trouble - Sunset Park Zone Act 3
Sonic CD - Palmtree Panic Zone (Past)
Sonic CD - Collision Chaos Zone (Past)
Sonic CD - Tidal Tempest Zone (Past)
Sonic CD - Quartz Quadrant Zone (Past)
Sonic CD - Wacky Workbench Zone (Past)
Sonic CD - Stardust Speedway Zone (Past)
Sonic CD - Metallic Madness Zone (Past)
Sonic CD (JP/EU) - Zone Clear
Super Mario 64 - Dire, Dire Docks
Shuusou Gyoku - False Strawberry
Touhou Kikeijuu ~ Wily Beast and Weakest Creature - Beast Metropolis
Barbie: Super Model - Rollerskating at the Beach
Journey to Silius - Stage 3
Twinkle Star Sprites - Love Me (Sky Stage 1)
Mega Man Zero 4 - Esperanto
Sonic 3D Blast (Genesis/Mega Drive) - Rusty Ruin Zone Act 2
Additionally, I also updated one of my old ports in order to make it sound less crappy. I feel like the port still shows its age a bit, but the instrumentation and less-crappy-SFX-cutoff help alleviate it.
Touhou Fuujinroku ~ Mountain of Faith - Because Princess Inada is Scolding Me
Now for some General Commentary, if you like. I feel like there's somewhat of a shift in quality as I got more comfortable using SMW samples to mirror FM synthesis. Also, I'm fairly certain I tested all of these in-game, but if I didn't then oops, feel free to yell at me. Likewise if I forgot samples or uploaded a stats .txt. I'm also very indecisive when it comes to mixing (plus my earphones are kind of crappy), so there might be slight tweaks made to the ports by the time they're submitted. I also may have had too much fun with pitch modulation.
As for Specific Commentary:
-The Sonic CD ports almost exclusively use SMW samples, even as the base for the chorded samples; the only exceptions are the iconic HUEHUE from Stardust Speedway, and some of the oddball percussion in Collision Chaos. That means, the record scratches in Stardust Speedway are unsampled! They use pitch modulation and were a huge pain to get right.
-Marble Zone has customization options for vibrato and the lead octave. I couldn't decide which vibrato sounded better, so I kept both. There's also an option to boost the lead by an octave, since I accidentally defined the wrong octave when starting the port and thought it didn't sound too bad. I suppose you could consider VIB 1 / OCT 0 (original lead octave with fast vibrato) the "default".
-The SRB2 Invincibility port has four different versions: you can choose if you want it to loop or not, and there's a global-compatible version as well.
-The Sonic CD Zone Clear port has three varieties: one with the goal whistle and one without, and one where it sort of kicks in as the song is playing.
-I started the Blue Spheres port at 3:00 in the morning today lol.
Finally, I do want to give a big shoutout to Nameless, who always gives feedback on the billion WIP SPCs I send her. She also ported things for C3!

(and listen to Esperanto here, and to Rusty Ruin Zone Act 2 here)
now time for me to go eat breakfast
