Mimi from Super Paper Mario Custom Player GFX!

Hello everyone! From the start of 2020 I've been working on a large graphics project! It's Mimi the mischievous shapeshifter from Super Paper Mario!

I created not only her iconic yellow dress outfit, but also the rest of her outfits that appear in the game as well, as well as a bonus outfit of Mario!

Excellent work. It's very nice to see that someone still remembers from Super Paper Mario. While it didn't had the high standard of TTYD, the characters from this game were so charismatic.

Finally society has done it, they put Mimi from Super Paper Mario in Super Mario World. Jokes aside, these sprites look good! The mario one especially looks well done. Nice!

Oh my, that'd be amazing! I however wish I had the expertise on ASM to implement big gfx like that, but also for something cool like spitting out rupees + invincibility. I do not however unfortunately. If I did, this would definitely be a thng! I'd absolutely give anybody my full support on them writing or creating such a thing though, maybe if I learn more ASM in the future I'll give it a shot!

Actually, the Dynamic Z patch allows you to create big player graphics, up to 64x64* and they can have very fluid animation. I've been using that patch to create player graphics for years, so I could help you create player graphics for Mimi's spider form. Implement them, I mean. Not draw them. I suck at art. Anyway, if you want to see what I've done with the Dynamic Z patch, feel free to join my Discord server.

About the rubies thing. I'm in the process of learning how to use cluster sprites to create any attack under the sun. I might be able to help you with that, too. This is what I mean. There are also some Dynamic Z player graphics here, too.



*Well, actually, that's not entirely accurate. You can use up to 16 16x16 tiles or up to 32 8x8 tiles and each tile can be placed anywhere.
