I am trying to put 3 platforms on a chain in a vertical level and I've never been able to use them, they either don't appear or parts of them become invisible. I've made sure I'm using the right sprite sets but I've never been able to get any of the chain platforms to work.
Vertical levels have a lot of bugs. Apparently that sprite not spawning properly is one of them, and a patch to fix that exists.

However, with the advent of LM3, it's suggested that you no longer use vertical levels (that is, level header 0A), but rather use tall horizontal levels instead. I believe you'll be free from their bugs by doing that.
Thanks for the advice, wasn't aware there was a new version of LM out. I'll check it out
