"Strongest" indeed because the mechakoopa is so damn strong it's rad and I'm surprised nobody ever did anything of the sort. That spinning thing though 👀
This batch of fulfilled requests is awesome.
I certainly didn't expect the mechakoopa to be so acurate.
It seems that "strongest" really was a proper title for this.

Questions for Von Fahrenheit:

1) These sprites uses SA-1?
2) Would you submit these sprites to the SMW sprites section when finished?
3) The Mecha-Koopa lightning is extended sprite? How did you do the Lightning effect on Mecha-Koopa?

2) Perhaps they would.
3) I assume that lightning is a cluster sprite.

As you can see, I added the jet option, which is toggled by setting the extra bit. I wanted to add a few more features to them like the targeting laser using color window HDMA but I want to get on with the other requests. Now to answer some questions!

There are no plans to make the eyes spin. They don't spin in SMW, and at least in my head that takes priority over the MM2 version since the MM versions cheat so much in regards to what can be done on the source consoles. Funnily enough I find the laser to be more feasible than the spinning eyes #smrpg{:D}

1. Sprites use pixi and are SA-1 compatible.
2. Me and Eminus will submit the sprites when we're done.
3. The lightning is just a custom sprite with a clever GFX routine. I learned a lot of tilemapping tricks by working on Extra Mario World and looking at other games and yeah, this is just a sprite!

Finally, I don't know if these threads are shutting down when C3 ends. If so, we're continuing this in the appropriate forum section as there's no way we can finish all of them in just an hour.

Looks great, but didn't the red versions spit homing bills? Other than that, looks great!

They do, but I didn't know of a fast way to set up a rotating/homing bullet sprite. It's very easily customized with defines at the top so if there's a better sprite to act as a projectile you can use that. We might make a version of the homing bullet before we release these officially.

Those will do just fine! Inserting one of those and setting it to the projectile number should work.

The Para-thwomp was a funny sprite, but can you make the Mecha-Koopa's lightning hit specific blocks besides only turn blocks?
These are awesome man; kudos for coding and kudos for the users who registered their nice brief requests.
