it makes me a bit sad to see this hack go cancelled, it was truly a really original hack with ton of work and soul put into it. I hope you can atleast re-use some of the ideas/assets from this hack in another project, it being hack-related or not

Thank you for all your effort, Ruber. An entire decade of working on a single hack isn't for the weakest, but I understand how life can interfer with personal projects in a way or another. Good luck with everything!

It may be unfortunate that this long-running project of yours has been cancelled, but the least we can do at this point is appreciate what has been made thus far. What you were able to accomplish was truly impressive, from the music, to the graphics, to the ASM, characters, and everything in between. Now that it's been immortalized in its current state, What-a-Blast will never be forgotten.

What is a Lunar Magic, and can I eat it?

Okay, I looked into my old hacking download files and found an older build of your game What a Blast.

I made a patch for it (untested) open it up in lunar magic after you repatched it with SMW and see if you can't start from an older stable build.

Also you can always just finish what you currently have. You don't have to go crazy and make it super ambitious to the point that its too hard to complete.

All I'm saying is give it another shot man.

I used to use Hyrule Magic in the past and that program is notorious for messing up your rom so Zelda 3 hackers know that you have to make lots of backups. So when I did my SMW hack I made backups everyday that I worked on the project. For my SMW hack I have 170 backup copies of the rom to be exact.

All I did was create a folder named "backups" and just copied the pasted my latest rom in here. Windows automatically renamed them for me because I said yes keep the copy of the file even though the name is the same.

Probably just an echo of other ppl's feelings, but it's sad to see another promising project go away.
There's always that part of myself hoping it can be revived, as unlikely as that is.
It's kinda why I no longer really try to play demos, like, ever.
