Making message boxes annoy ZSNES users

PatchSuper Mario WorldResource Release

F for the zsnes but it doesn't matter as long as they don't do the same to the snes9x, the bsnes lags me up to the minesweeper #smrpg{argh}
Hello I'ts a Me Kirbo.
I feel personally attacked.
As much as I still use ZSNES its funny how much of a joke its become around the site over the many years its "obsolescence" #smrpg{sick}

Pretty cool how you have managed to do this WYE. Nice One!
Three pages of replies in a night? Looks like I struck a nerve. #tb{''}

I'm actually surprised ZSNES detection isn't getting used for more kinds of easter eggs since it's literally just seven lines of ASM, but it's probably for the better, lest it be the non-ZSNES users who'd be missing out.

(also I'm a ZMZ person myself because I got used to the interface, oh no)

While this is great, I use ZMZ as well.
ZMZ is king but if you do any ASM you still have to get used to BSNES due to SA-1 debugging. Maybe one day we'll even a debugger like Mesen that lets you rewrite code in real time in the emulator. That's the god emperor of debugging right there.

allow shy guy emojis in post footers you cowards!
I'm part of the BSNES train so it doesn't affect me.

It's generally fine for casual playing at least but even, you shouldn't recommend ZSNES unless someone can't run SNES9x (BSNES too but it's unlikely to have a computer which can run BSNES but not SNES9x) due to its lack of updates (see below).

there are Stil Smw Hacks who Works Better on Zsnes

Mostly old hacks, though. And even then, SNES9x and BSNES do allow you to turn emulation hacks to get compatibility with those old hacks. An exception is input delay (something what RPG Hacker likes to bring up) but that's more a flaw of the emulator than the ROM hack (and you can buffer frames on BSNES to mitigate that).

The thing is: It hasn't been updated for years. 13 years! How can you upgrade ZSNES if the last update is older than some of our youngest users here around!

It Works with Most Hacks Even with Some who Use Sa1

There aren't many hacks which utilise complex effects at least. But at the same time, there is a trend towards accuracy, even playing on a real SNES (and many big players play on a real SNES).
Even then, there are effects which won't work on ZSNES. One example is SA-1's CC-DMA used by LX5's SMM2 P-Balloon, the first public resource which utilises CC-DMA. Another effect is Mode 2 which you know from Yoshi's Island (a relatively popular game to boot!) with its Fuzzy and pseudo-3D rooms which break on ZSNES (unless you disable the new graphics engine) as it doesn't handle horizontal offsets in OPT correctly.

Of course, if you're a programmer, you want to use BSNES anyway due to the aforementioned reason (or because the best debugger out there, BSNES+, uses BSNES).

In ZMZ defense: It's a frontend so you can use it with the BSNES kernel to debug. A proper debugger (such as BSNES+) is preferable, though.

Let me Say My Latest Zsnes Update comes from 2015 but Yeah i See the Point of Using Newer Up to Date Ones and for me I like to Use Different Emus Depending on Situation but I Always Wonder from What The Hate comes Against Zsnes Yeah its Not Up to Date but that cant be the Only Reason Explicite i Remember A Long Time were Even Snes9X Existed and All Stil Used Zsnes So if Someon want Explain it to me i were Gratefull becouse its Always Confuse me i Often Heard Something About Browser Opening and Viruses but i must say it Never Happened to me the ones who Used it have Never Say of Viruses Ether so No Offending im Stil just Confused :D

And Yeah I mostly Use Zsnes for Recording becouse it stil Works the Best for me and i Dont know if My Option are Strange but It Feels that The Sound and Input of Controls are not So Good on Snes9X + The Recording is Without Sound and it Splits Always my Parts which is not so Cool and its seems The Framerate Gots Down to under Recording
So I dont Know do i Use the Emulator Wrong I Have No Idea. :D

There is a hack which works somewhat... different in ZSNES. More hacks should do this!
My blog. I could post stuff now and then

My Assembly for the SNES tutorial (it's actually finished now!)
Finally. Always fun messing around with people who use abandonware emulators like ZSNES.

I personally can't wait for the day where someone makes a patch that essentially implements Earthbound-style copy protection into SMW.
I play forum games and draw furries. I'm mostly active on Discord and Twitter.

Fair enough, you might even replace the ZNSES message with the "Bethesda Account Required" message. LUL

Sucks to suck #smrpg{mlem}
Incredible. All you need to do now is use the exploit to open the bsnes download page every time a message box is opened.

...Actually, why not?

Why BSNES, though? It doesn't even run well on a lot of computers! Rather make it link to Snes9x, or maybe to some compilation page listing all the different SNES emulators for people to choose themselves so that they can pick ZSNES, anyways.
Feel free to visit my website/blog - it's updated rarely, but it looks pretty cool!
Zsnes = evil tool that can destroy the world.
Also If Zsnes were Realy that Evil Think about it who we were without it it was The Emulator We All Used in The Past It was There and has Seen all the Progress to the Time we are Now i Wonder if the Hacking Community were this far without it :D

I am flattered.
Reading through all this I believe the correct usage is to use this in tandem with the zsnes warning message but reverse them so that only users not using zsnes get annoyed by these things. It'll be like the one level in that one VIP where it pauses every 5 seconds or so.
