About the desert beach GFX, shall I stick with the one from the hack or shall I use my own personal GFX for this? I won't forget to credit Gamma V.

Hey there for a final time.
This time I'm talking the heaviest artillery I have. I'm working on a hack called:

Mario and the Gem of Power
Here's a screenshot:


Story
Bowser sent his trusty koopa, along with a crew of galoombas towards a mine to search of jewels that will help him crush Mario for good. Seeing the team takes a long time searching, Bowser called his koops back to his main base. After asking about the jewels, koopa tells his team has it, but the koopa doesn't and will send the jewels of power to his base.
A galoomba ran towards Bowser corrupted. He found a way to make the enemy snap out of it and after the galoomba recovers, koopa told Bowser he went towards a corruption gem. After Bowser demoted the galoomba and his other minions to goomba, Mario finds out from a toad about Bowser's plan and wants to put an end to it.

Gameplay
This hack includes a total of 8(or more worlds). Find a way to overcome every obstacle. Because you can do it.

The first screenshot has updated layer 3 GFX. Perhaps some time, I'll release those?

Half-spinning roto-discs are a thing and I should change the pododoo GFX.

This is the start of world 3.
The first, seconds and 3rd world submaps are complete. I will show only the first one:

Almost revealed OW:

I will change the layer 3 border.

You will play the demo at the next C3. What to do then:

-change the layer 3 border;
-edit the Overworld Indicators patch to make it compatible with the other patches;
-find a beta tester to test my hack.
That beta tester will point me to some unneeded flaws.

That's all that I have! I hope these screenshots do look good.

Things are looking pretty good so far. A good amount of variety and the graphics look great. Keep it up!

I am interesting about this hack due to the mix match graphics and i never really see you Rykon-V73 working on a hack that you made, most of the time your just release graphics for SMW Central.

I actually do, but sometimes I quit, due to a thing like patches are incompatible or I made an unfixable error.
The only hack I did release on SMWC was 'Comeback to Yoshi's Island'.
Regarding the desert graphics... I am not a personal fan of what you’ve chosen, but, I don’t mind it. I like the desert cave graphics more personally.
No, I was talking about the desert beach, not desert cave.
It looks very good, I can't wait any longer for it to come out:)

If you're reffering the 3 block ? block, then it's in certain levels of the hack.

Still, I wait for the final decision. I thought this would do, but it seems not, as others have better, but at least I tried.
Hmm, the votes are equal. I'm not sure if I should stick to the regular GFX or if I should use mine.

Keep in mind that progress will be slow.
I love the title screen border, font, and scenery! Overworld is crammed full of detail though the details suit the biomes. The graphics look clean and colorful too. Also what's with the really long ? block? I admit I chuckled when I first noticed it because it was that out of left field. Is it animated?

I'm too late for the voting. Personally, though the sets you're concerned about look good on their own, I would recommend drawing a new desert/beach/cave set or modifying the ones you are using since the other graphics in your hack seem to be defined by big, bold ledge tops and walls.
