I can already see someone making a version of super mario world on yoshi's island style after the release of this mario gfx

Also, it looks very nice, catch well the style of yoshi's island, i just feel the nose of big mario feels a bit off, but for small mario everythjng seems on point to me

That's actually a really awesome Mario sprite. It really does capture the graphical style of Yoshi's Island and even gives Nintendo a run for their money. Great work!

Those remind me a bit of the mario gfx used in idol's hack, they are pretty similar (and that's a compliment because I love those graphics). Either way, they will fit perfectly in YI styled hacks, so nice work!

But that's probably caused by the cartoony look.
It's probably difficult to make a whole hack in this style but I appreciate the effort you put into this!

Your style reminds me of old-timey cartoons.

I don't know if I would quite call this YI-styled, but it has loads of charm.

This is my first hack, which gives Mario a Yoshi's Island inspired graphic set. I worked out all of the sprites from scratch so they're compatible both within SMW and otherwise. Included in the .zip is the original sheet containing all of the sprites, an .asm file to disable Mario's walk bob, the separate .bin files, the revised .pal file, and a .bps patch.

This hack REQUIRES the 32x32 Player Graphics Hack by Ladida and ExE Boss to work properly. Be sure to download that here!
