Daizo's C3 Port Releases (2 Songs)

Final Fantasy VIII - The Castle - Listen!
UNDERTALE - W.D. Gaster (ALPHA SPHERE Remix) - Listen!

Two songs I've decided was worth releasing to C3. I actually wanted to port FF8's "The Castle" for a while, so I decided to go ahead and port it. I'm not going to submit it until it's completely looped, plus I think the mods have a lot on their plate anyway so yeah. There are definitely some imperfections, but I don't have a good ear to notice anything off. I intended this port to use samples from all 3 of the main series SNES Final Fantasy games, but I also threw in some other fun samples too just to spice it up.

W.D. Gaster's theme is the same version heard in ALPHA SPHERE: Director's Cut, so I decided I might as well release it here as well. I actually originally had a different plan for this remix, but due to me not being near my computer at the time (only my dying laptop) I ended up going for a more softer direction instead. I basically ported it by ear.

Whoa, that FFVIII song sounds really great. Really nice seeing more stuff from this game, even though isn't my favorite Final Fantasy, it still has an amazing soundtrack. Superb work with this one.

In love with both these! I'm so damn impressed by the fact you could almost perfectly recreate the Gaster theme remix.

I have no idea why I overlooked this thread. Even if the castle perfect has to be optimized perhaps the Undertale port is really great, especially for being ported by ear. It might be a short one, but it is certainly well made and perfectly fits for you alpha sphere hack.

Considering the amount of amazing ports made by others, I'm not too surprised. Yeah again, I had a different direction I wanted to take with Gaster's theme but in the end I think I prefer this version over what I wanted to do haha. I think I captured the feeling of the original well with the remix.
