Thanks, but I don't think I will need the planet graphics anymore, I just used the vanilla overworld tiles to make mario land on big planet forms. But what I need are graphics for a big spaceship that will have 3 stages in it. But I really appreceate it. I'm trying to draw a space ship myself, and I can tell you that I'm not good at drawing at all. But I'm trying my best.

Hey guys, I need the professor E. Gadd's graphics because I will need it during some cutscenes. It's available in some hacks but I don't want to steal them without permission.

Then get them through either ripping them yourself from some spritesheet (and of course crediting the spritesheet's author) or requesting someone to rip or draw it (make sure to read the rules of the thread thoroughly first).

A reminder that this forum's main purpose is showoff, not requests, so please take that to the appropriate places and use this thread to showoff and discussion of your project only.

It's a start, but the lack of shading is very glaring. If you can't draw very well and don't want to invest yourself into it, I highly suggest either ripping an existing spaceship from another game, or just using the requests thread I linked above (but bear in mind you can only make one request at a time).
By the way guys, can you please tell me which music could fit this level:

I added This song, but I'm not sure if it fits it well.

Given the scenery alone - park trees, sunset and high rise buildings - I am reminded of a Pokémon city. Driftveil City is a fun one but seems to be more of a daytime tune. Viridian City and Aspertia Town are more relaxed and fit the time of day better. None of them are frantic so they wouldn't suit athletic levels too well. Seeing the level in motion would help us suggest music better suited if none of those seem to work.

About the graphics, I also want to recommend this great pixel art tutorial and you should be drawing planets in no time. I would recommend if you redo the UFO to make it smaller, maybe 32x32. That can fit up to four levels. It would also be easier to detail smaller. You will also have the ability to fit more planets.

YY-CHR has a circle draw option that makes it easy to do round objects. Alternatively, you could go for a "floating island" type of planet. If you take Koopster's advice, there are also some cool planets to rip from Kirby Super Star's Milky Way Wishes but they have very specific themes.

Just look above you...
If it's something that can be stopped, then just try to stop it!
Do you think that this song could fit it?

I am not so sure. It feels sort of like a groovy outer space song more than a city song. If the setting were altered to nighttime and you recolored some of the windows yellow so they'd look like they have lights on, it might fit this level, but it definitely could work in other planned parts of your hack perfectly.

This in my opinion fits it alot better.

Hi guys, sorry, My hack has not been accepted. I read the causes of removal and I need some tips about them. As for Wart, I meat to add him as world 1 boss because of the story plot. Do I just need to set the difficulty to hard then?

I didn't play the hack at all, but from what the removal log says, the level design could be improved if you played with resources a bit more and implemented some challenge. And since the levels feel like "gauntlets", cutting down their length would be beneficial for the gameplay to not turn out hectic and uninspired.
Protip: if you want to keep longer levels, be sure to not make them too jarring and introduce midpoints per half. By no means you should utilize every screen the editor offers, but some sense is necessary here.

As for the Wart boss, if it was a Hard hack I'd keep it in world 1 but make it less harsh, but since it's supposed to be a Normal hack, I'd introduce it some worlds later due to his patterns. In fact, it can be buggy at times. I'm usually not a fan of harder bosses early on.

As for sprites: I agree, introduce them in a friendly way and not in a bullet hell fashion. I don't mean they should not be used, but: their usage should provide more action and movement from the player as their appearance goes on.

As for slowdown: have you considered using NMSTL or (in the more extreme cases) SA-1? If that's not the case, do it or trim down the number of sprites per screen.

I think that's all. Best of luck with this!
I used no more spite tile limits, but it still generates slowdown. Plus, it doesn't work with all sprites, As for sa-1 pack, it crashes my rom.

Also, set the sprite header to whatever header they utilize (see: original SMW levels).

The NMSTL patch still discourages you from inserting a gazillion sprites at once, but it's a breather from SA-1.
I also need some tips for a better level design. And I guess I'll just set the hack difficulty to hard.

Um, I did give you some directions for level design some posts above.
Though if you truly want to gather inspiration, try playing other hacks to get a base. Start fresh, then get wild gradually - as in, add a koopa or two at the beginning and then add other types of koopas in a busy environment. I don't know man, just look at how our accepted hacks did it or give AxemJinx's tutorial a read.
I need to know more about coins positions, because I think I must not make it easy to have 99 lives.

Add coins in more strategic places then, but don't insert a lot of coins unless absolutely necessary (i.e. 25 coins puzzle). Same deal with dragon coins.
I try to get inspired from Roberto Zampari and Bandicoot hacks and maybe also Gamma V for level designs, Because I'm a big fan of their hacks. Especially Roberto.
