Hey yall! This is the follow up on the C3 thread me and Eminus did this Summer. We didn't get everything done in time, so we're continuing the thread here (original C3 thread here). We have a couple sprites left to post, and the idea is that before we release all these officially you'll find the latest versions of everything here. Any testing is appreciated as that aids a lot with bug fixing and balancing. I didn't find a WIP forum for anything but full hacks, but figured this would be the appropriate place for this thread. If this thread is not suitable for this forum, please feel free to move it!

Spiky Chuck... that's a quite interesting sprite with the how he walks, especially the Speed Booster (Shinespark is when you're flying in the air). The sprite as the whole (both, behaviour and animation) remind me of Extra Mario World which makes sense as they both are your and Eminus's work (+ more for Extra Mario but okay).
that's because the other asm threads had power limiters imposed on them out of time restraints

it'd be neat if this became a common occurrence since it'd allow for more impressive stuff to be made around C3 but it'd also allow for more stress for ASMers which is like h and is like not good for morale (or for telling people to stop requesting absurd bosses)
Yeah this has been a lot of work for Von Fahrenheit for sure. Our current plan is that he finished the code for all the sprites I drew, so there are ~7 left
I'm also here to show you two of them:
Gary's request, the shark
He has two settings: "chase" and "patrol" (defined by !patrol in the asm file). the first gif shows the chase behaviour: the shark always chases the player. It's pretty much like the porcu puffer. in the 2nd gif where patrol is enabled, you can see the shark goes back and forth and will chase the player only when in sight. Also, the extra bit controls whether the shark's Y position is locked (extra bit off = locked, extra bit on = move freely vertically)

You hold it with X/Y, and attack with L/R. As you can see, throwing it at stuff is also effective
