Persist
New song.
Jimmy, reminds me of Sonic CD, in a good way.

Ladies and Gentlemen, everyone's favorite industrial/noise band GCAT is back with hit single yix.ex.
I should have finished this a while ago.

I got really lazy with the ending, i'll probably redo it if i ever get around to it.

Chipwave Overdrive

First 8-bit composition I've done.
Two demos from Lampshade, an improv-noise-rock combo. I play bass in this one.

Americocoa Puffs
I Lost My Keys
In the end (WIP)
This is an unfinished version of the piece. Once it is done I will add another link below.

That sounds like the magic 8bit plugin for FL Studio heheh, nice, I've never been good with composing chiptunes in that manner.

This one here I made quickly for my friend who paid me to make it for him. He wanted something happy sounding which I rarely ever make but he was satisfied with it. I think I went a little crazy with the piano though heh.
I think a post layout goes here somewhere...
@Slash Man: I think it gets a bit over-frenetic with the fast-paced notes in spots, but the overall vibe is great, and definitely feels more upbeat and adventurous like you were going for. Nice work!

I decided to try rearranging one of the original themes from A Super Mario Thing:

The Long-Sought Calm (World 1)

It's basically supposed to be the beach world during winter, after the game ends.

Another attempt at an original composition

Yep, that's exactly it! xP

As for the composition, yeah the piano is pretty crazy at the one part, but I think it sounds awesome! I'll admit the intro was pushing me away but as soon as the beat came in I started to love it. I've been listening to it for a bit now and I think it's fantastic!
Here's a pensive piece of music I did featuring the oboe.

It's called "The Plea", written when I was going through an extra-hard time. The character this song represents is nothing like this song, but sometimes life forces us to come to grips and change our views.

The Plea

Also @Red Chameleon holy crap that piece is amazing. I'm not usually a fan of chiptune like that but that was somethin' else! I liked it!

I don't feel like bumping my thread so I'll just show this off here. First time I've attempted major modulation with fakebit stuff. Enjoy.
@Dragonfly: Very pretty song. It has an interesting mix of 8-bit and orchestral instruments, and I must say I absolutely love the chord progression here, and I like the way you transposed the main theme of the song toward the end. My only real complaint is that the volume mixing could use some more work, particularly with the violin and the 8-bit pulse at some parts.

@SNN: Pretty catchy, as usual. Really enjoying that bass, as well as that synth you introduced at 0:38 (I'm actually pretty curious how you made that effect btw.) No real complaints here, though I do wish the bass was a little bit louder.
