Understandable, removing the timer would've worked fine but like i thought, you already have infinite lives so there's no loss in retrying a level that's already short

This is why I loved your level. Death means nothing when there's infinite lives, why not waste a few of them to explore the level for when you're ready to do the run that gets everything right.

Is my level that controversially flawed? Shouldn't the holes be consistent now that you simply have to walk through them? I don't understand how it's that frustrating. Did you by any chance play the latest version? Maybe you might have a drastically different taste than me, I dunno.

saying again as I did on discord. Hobz is playing Bebn's compiled folder of entrees. We have already doubled confirmed that it is the latest version. Me, hobs, and Idol have all expressed our issues with this level. Please don't try to fight about it, just take it as opinions. If you feel like what you made is great, that's perfectly ok, but please understand that we just didn't enjoy playing the level. I told you my reason but you were quick to dismiss it. I'm afraid you may find my opinion about it to be more common than desired.

I was expecting that I went with outright pressure as my central design focus that I'd have polarized opinions of it. It's absolutely not for everyone. My level is also long, I'll agree to that. However, I set out to do exactly what I wanted to do and feel pretty good about that. ^_^ Thank you for trying it out. If it was boring or buggy though, then that's something I'm worried about and would like to hear more on. Your level definitely avoids being boring and I liked it so I think you would have some valuable insight there if there is anything else to elaborate on. This is literally my first level in years so I want to be sure my footing is okay even though my ideas aren't universally accessible and aren't going to be.

On a side note, I was actually glad you liked EvanSMW's entry since that was one of the ones I was watching thinking there was some potential there. I didn't play his revision yet but now I really want to since it sounds like whatever's there is going to be worth another run.

@AnasMario130: I'm not sure what the others said and I didn't play the next version yet, but I'll stand by the notion that the ghost floor sprite was always going to be high-risk with any horizontal pass-through because SMW's interaction coding for it is awful. I still loved the cage part though!

Also, given how Rykon's feedback was deeper than this and he got told to elaborate -plus- people are going to get TV dinner-salty about having their levels dubbed bad without the reasoning being there already, my crystal ball says this thread is a ticking time bomb for trouble... juuuuuuuust sayin'. You may want to offer detail upfront since 'fun' means a lot of things and it's not going to be clear or constructive to most people.

Counterfeit is right. Your other thread had a much better format and a better shot at being useful. It takes very little effort to essentially give a septenary score to levels with no elaboration whatsoever, and not only does it give no information to the level creators, it comes off as really harsh just naming a level "bad" or "yikes" with no justification (sure people can ask for elaboration, but why not just give it in the first place?). Sorry.

Of course, feel free to continue the other thread or to recreate something with more substance.
