Description: | Diagonal up pipes that Mario can go in. Includes 6 blocks (3 for left facing and 3 for right facing), an uberASM file and an asar patch. Uses one freeram address which you can change in the settings file. See readme for more details. Feel free to tell me if I should change some behavior or anything. EDIT : OK, apparently I'm silly enough to want to continue working on these so here are the things I'm planning to change/add when I can : - Add small diagonal pipes - Add GFX for all pipes (already have GFX done thanks to some help, just need to figure out how to make them in a submitable format) - Make pipes into screen scrolling pipes (start with straight pipes only, might add direction changes after) - Improve collision so that it reflects the pipes and let you walk on them without jank (have some ideas but this one might take a while) |

I think that this submission is definitely interesting and would be awesome to have, but in its current state I believe it warrants rejecting. Most notably, this submission lacks an explicit list.txt file (although it can be quickly made by copy/pasting the one in the readme) and a sample .map16 file to accompany it. After successfully inserting all of the necessary components for this, getting my map16 to align to what the provided image displayed did not go properly, given that mine looked nothing like the screenshot despite having all of the correct, matching values. It will definitely make the user's time easier by including a sample .map16 file (especially given this is a pack of 6 blocks), rather than telling them what to do in a readme.
As for the blocks themselves, things seemed to work fine. I was able to enter the pipe just fine, but again with map16 collision issues it would make sense to include a sample file for next time.
