Playing hacks on PAL-Hardware

Hello,

I don't expect much from this, but there are so many knowledgeable people here, I want to ask.

Usually I play hacks on a super nt, which was a worry-free experience, as everything just worked.

Over the holidays, I have a PAL console available to me connected to a pretty decent crt and I was excited to use those with a SD2SNES Pro.

The hacks play, but they are slowed down... because they are patched to the ntsc smw rom. The quality of the super nt spared me of that issue, but now I have to deal with it.

I learned that I can mod my console, which I most likely will not do in the near future.

My question is, is there any way to speed up the hacks to play faster? Is there a patch or ASM work I can apply? Editing a .bps patch in Lunar Magic? Are there hacks that patch the PAL version of the game? Is there anything else? Workarounds, that make it somewhat work, like just a little difference in speed?

For the long term I would mod the console, but short term... I have to look for something else. I wouldn't want to miss playing hacks on console over the holidays.

Thank you :)
Unfortunately, I think you're out of luck and the answer is "no" to all of those. While I'm pretty sure Lunar Magic can actually edit EU ROMs, I'm not aware of a single hack that does it, especially not on this site, which requires using the US ROM as a base to submit hacks. I also doubt the US and EU ROMs are similar enough for .bps patches to work on both of those. So I think you generally don't have many options aside from either playing with slowdown, playing on a modded SNES or playing non-hacks.
Feel free to visit my website/blog - it's updated rarely, but it looks pretty cool!
That's what I thought... thank you!
