Burning PS1 Discs for PS3 Slim and Unmodded PS1s.

Hello. I was making a demo of my PS1 game and I always wanted it to run on a real PS1. (I choose my PS3 Slim because it can play PS1 Games)

The problem is that I burn the ISO to a CD-RW with RAW SAO+SUB Disc data (Yes that is the PS1 Disc data) and then set the write speed to 10x but it won't run the game.

So I inserted the disc to my laptop and I see the PS1 Game Files in the disc (Not intended)

My PlayStation 3 Slim isn't modded.

And yes the easiest way to make PS1 Discs you need a MODDED console (And I don't want that)

Is there a way to make PS1 Discs for unmodded PS1 Consoles, PS2 and PS3 consoles?

Note: I use Alcohol 120% for PS1 discs and not any other disc burner (Like ImgBurn for example) because they do MODE2 disc data (Not supported for unmodded PS1 consoles)

Where's my lasaga, Jon?
I'm almost completely certain that is not possible without modding the consoles or using dodgy methods that have a risk of permanent damage (such as the "swap trick" for PS2 which involves forcing the disk tray open.)

EDIT: And besides, the swap trick wouldn't accomplish what you're asking about anyway, as that's for imports and not burned game discs.

If it's an earlier PS1 you could always try exploiting the parallel port using a cheat device or external modchip, was extremely common to do that in the 1990s.

PS2 is pretty much 1:1 compatible with PS1 accessories and such anyways, there's very few exceptions where it won't work. The most prominent one I can think of is Xenogears where one of Deus's moves will crash the game on all but the first model PS2 slims (which were essentially a SCPH-5000x motherboard crammed into a smaller space anyway, explaining why the first slim ones had so many overheating issues as well as some remaining HDD firmware interface leftovers).

As Hat Kid said, don't use any kind of hardware-damaging methods like the swap tricks, they wear out the console and ultimately damage the CD-ROM drive.
