Tip: Avoid "item babysitting". Do not force the player to drag P-Switches or springboards all around the level. This is not fun, nor does it make for interesting "puzzles".

Really liking what I'm seeing so far, idol! That Chuck setup you had there was very interesting, and a lot of the areas you showed off, while chaotic, looked possible from even the viewpoint of a novice player. Usually with Kaizo hacks, creators just throw shit at Lunar Magic and hope for the best. The opposite can be said here. Great work!
Finally, a kaizo hack for me.
Really love how it looks. The gameplay looks doable even for non-kaizo players, yet keeps the energy that kaizo hacks are known for.
I liked how Yump 2 featured levels with Kaizo setups in a way that's not usually Kaizo. Does that statement make sense? Probably not, but that won't stop me from playing this one too.
Seriously, this C3 as a whole brought my hype levels off the charts. how is this possible?

People have said it before, but I'll say it again; it's nice to have the option to switch between kaizo and non-kaizo! The first half of the video stressed me out just watching it, so I feel like that speaks for itself in terms of how much the non-kaizo mode is appreciated.
Also that background with the rainbow in it is so nice. I love colours. Like others have said, it's nice to see a kaizo hack with a focus on aesthetics. Everything looks so prettyyyy.
ah π³π³π³ thanks for all the feedbacks everyone,,,,,,, since i posted this thread i've been drafting up a few more levels, and i hope to have this hack out by next c3 hopefully...
Looks like something I'd enjoy.
Honestly, I feel like every modern hack I really like has been more or less like this, crazy stuff going on, specific challenges and precise platforming. It's amazing how y'all do better core platforming than Nintendo itself at this point. It's super nice to have games that also challenge people who already have mastered the main mechanics of SMW.
Creative challenges are so nice to see, you have these levels that have new ideas each time and also can only be beaten in a specific way. It's made so you can't rush or break it, it's super impressive.
