Tip: Try sketching out ideas for overworlds and levels. Even if they don't manage to fit into Lunar Magic completely, at least you have a base to work from, instead of doing it all from scratch.

i was bored one day and decided to mess with powerdown/powerup transformation animations for some reason (ft. terrible gifs)
so i thought "what if i made powerdown/powerup transformation animations more 'snappy' like in sml2?" and uh
yeah.
i don't know why i made this, or if anybody else wants to use it for some reason, but here is the asm patch, i guess.
this was mostly a small-ish side project, so there are probably some incompatibilities and bugs i've overlooked (i only tested with base smw), it's also why it's not officially on the site (imperfections and all)
that, and i probably won't have much of a chance to look back at this due to life stuff and other projects i want to work on
so, uh, yay? why did i think it was a good idea to post this

Even though it's a really small effect, it's a nice patch to have for some variety. The default is fine, but even just making it so that Mario's pose remains during the transition brings a bit of *pop*.
Hopefully you can find the time to polish this up and add it to the site!
That's a nice little patch! It stood out to me a lot how this keeps Mario's pose when doing the powerup/powerdown animation, it's a nice detail that improves the animation a lot!
