How do I make my title be an image?

On the "Edit Profile" page is a "Title" option. There's a text field there and I have mine set to "Resolute Friendship Princess" now. However, I've seen that some users are using an image for their title. Knowing that, I want to use this image

for my title, but I can't figure out how to make my title be an image. I tried pasting the address of the image in the text field, and that just caused the web address to be my title instead of the image it leads to. I tried pasting the actual image into the text field, and that didn't do anything. The title remained blank. So how do I make my title be an image?

You would actually accomplish this the same way you embedded that Kirby image into your post, by using [img] tags to surround the link to the image. The only difference here is that you don't have a button to do it for you, so you generally have to insert the tags manually.

In this case, you can click to edit your post and then copy+paste the link to the embedded image (including tags) that you already have into the custom title field.
Oh wow! That actually worked! Thank you.

Is there a limit on how big the image can be? In addition to that Kirby image, I also have a version that's 2x2 pixels. Would the 2x2 version be too big? I don't know the site's rules on image titles.

You're welcome! And as for this:

The bigger version you posted works just fine. As far as I'm aware, the site does not currently have any concrete guidelines on images in your title, but it should be okay as long as it doesn't stretch the site tables or contain any sketchy code (such as abuses of CSS).
there is (or was) a character limit. たとえば if you have text in your title, and then direct link an image, if the combined text + bbcode/html + url exceeds the limit, then your title gets truncated and youll have a nice broken image link. so just make sure the urls arent too long

its possible the limit is no longer there. i just remember always hitting it when doing css-abused avatars in the past

the char limit itself was rather short, like around 150? 50? 255? dont really remember
