Hi, this is my newest that i've been working on it since the end of 2020.
In this hack i have got a bit of inspiration in the aesthetics of older hacks (but with more polish, so, no crazy non-sense mixes that are not aesthetically pleasing) and some new hacks.
Following the direction of my previous hack "In A Random Adventure" that failed to reach at least 1000 downloads, i'm trying to create levels with a certain focus on one (or more) sprites (but not always following it completely like in "In A Random Adventure"), this is also the first hack i'm doing that Luigi is the protagonist.
Good stuff so far, I really like the visual style you're going with for this (the cloud level in particular looks fantastic) and the design also seems solid from what I can see. Good luck on finishing this!
So, with 2-2 finished i've started the level 2-3 that's already finished, "what's so special about 2-3?" you may ask, well, it's a wall jump focused level and it's probably one of the levels that i had most fun creating.
Everything started when i played some hacks that uses wall jump and i've noticed that many of them doesn't make a good use of it, so i decided to create a level where it's main gimmick is the wall jump, later i've included some bumptys as obstacles. Some people suggested me to use the "retry patch" in this level, so probably i will use it.
Wall Jump levels are tricky to design. On one hand, they can be some of the most fun immersive levels you can find. On the other hand, it can be frustratingly tedious if designed without giving the player some breathing room.
Either way, here's to hoping this hack doesnt run out of steam like the previous one did.

Woah! This hack looks pretty cool so far! I'll be following its development, as I once tried to make a hack named Luigi's Quest. This one reminds me of my past.
So...I can now remember when development on my Luigi's Quest ended. It was about the end of June of 2020. I happen to have a demo meant for the YouTube channel Blue Television Games, but if anybody wants it, I'll alter it a bit for the general audience, and I'll release it as a bonus alongside Mario's Grand Adventure.
With the level 3-3 finished, i've started creating level 3-4, and i can say, got some really fast progress, started creating this level today and it's almost finished, so, let me talk about this level, it's an athletic level focused in the timed lifts, here's some screenshots:
I got some good news, i've finished world 3 and i just have started to work in world 4, that means the hack is almost close to get a final release.
So, let me show you some screenshots of world 4-1:
Finished 4-2, let tell you about this level, the name of the level is "Rope To Live" and it's focused in the "rope mechanism" sprite, here's some screenshots and a .gif:
To be honest, rope jumps are free. They're easy to get the timing consistent. I don't get why people think it's hard, cause it's not. It's way easier than grab a throw block and jump at the same time.
Great hack, can't wait to see the finished version.
