Is there a way to add custom letters to SM64? - Super Mario 64 Hacking

Hello everyone, i'm trying to make a Spanish translation for SM64 with some friends, but i need to add some custom characters (Like the letter Ñ) without modifying existing characters.

Does anyone have a clue on how to do this, or is this possible at all? I'd really appreciate it!!

Your best bet is messing with decomp, as you're able to modify the source code directly and it will let you easily add more characters that you need.
