Heyo! I think this is the right place to ask about these, but correct me if I'm wrong. So I'm working on a hack that have the mechanics of SMB2. It uses the latest versions of these patches:

But when Mario grabs a shell:

This happens.

The graphics do not show correctly when mario grabs a carriable sprite .

I really need help, tomorrow i have no time.

any help is appreciated.

Hi! I can help, sorta... I can't exactly tell you what the problem is, but I have a few guesses:
1. You forgot to remap the graphics/ remapped the graphics incorrectly, or
2. You forgot to insert new graphics for Mario.
As the author said:
"2. This patch does not remap any of Mario's animation frames, and includes "SMM2-Carrying.bin" for reference purposes only. You must remap Mario's graphics manually by replacing unnecessary frames of animation, or utilize a patch that expands the maximum number of frames Mario can use. The preview GIF utilizes my own remapping, which replaces three of the Castle Destruction Sequence frames."
(What  Sonikku meant is you're going to be needing extra space in the graphics files of Mario, where you can add the carrying sprites (he/she deleted the castle sprites to make space, and remapped the graphics by him/herself, also you need to expand the number of animations Mario can use with a patch (although I didn't find any patch that does this, so there's a chance you might have to make your own)). You don't need the second patch is all I'm trying to say.)

You're having graphics glitches, right? So it must be one of the above, or both. If you still can't figure it out, I recommend asking in the comment section of the patch submission (here) or asking the person who made it ( Sonikku) directly.
I'm an *.asm* noob, so don't take my word for it.., but still I hope this helped... somewhat...

And, if you can't contact the creator, the comment section on the submission can be a lot of help too.
I don't know how experienced you are, but If you're a beginner or you only know the basics (basic *.asm* insertions, etc.) It's a good idea to start with a smaller project, and work up from there. Because if you choose a "hard for your skill level" project, not only will it be difficult to finish, but it will really ruin your mood, that you can't finish your project that you've been dreaming of.
In short: Start small, and if you still wan't to finish your SMB2 recreation, just leave this (the sprite carrying patch) out of your hack, and focus on other easier to do things.
This SMB2 sprite carry patch is advanced stuff.

I hope you get actually useful information on this glitch, and how to fix it.
