Tip: If your level contains elements that temporarily change the music to a global song (such as a P-Switch or a Star), said music will not stop playing after the intended end time if the music bypass setting is set to 00.

How to make a VERY simple sprite?

I want to make a 16x16 sprite that has gravity (it falls), and it can be inserted with pixi (has a *.cfg*/*.json* file). That's all, very simple...
Is there a tool that I can use to make such a sprite (for PIXI), or should I just get into learning how to program a custom sprite?

The only thing I found was Dyzen Sprite Maker, I tried to make it work with PIXI, but with no luck. I'm surprised nobody (except anonimzwx) made, or tried to make a sprite maker. I looked into SMW sprite coding, but I only found old tutorials, or tutorials that skip over a lot of details.

I want to get into coding, and I want to stop relying on other people to help me out, but with this small community (and also, the game we're hacking is old, so most people don't even bother to look into SNES coding) It is really difficult to get to information...

If you know a great tutorial for absolute beginners please link it, It would be a lot of help.
(sorry for writing walls of text, again...)

MarioFanGamer has a fairly in-depth guide to sprite programming over here. Note that the tutorial itself doesn't handle teaching you the actual ASM coding part, so see this tutorial first if you're not familiar with ASM.

The main reason there's not really any sprite-creation tool though is because there's a wide variety of ways you can actually write a sprite. Graphics routines in particular are one such example where that comes up, as there are many different ways you can write that depending on the needs of the sprite in question.

Thanks  Thomas! I crudely modified an existing sprite to create the one I needed. For now, I'm going to modify existing sprites and slowly get into learning how sprites work. Thanks again for linking tutorials!
I recommend you check this thread:

Dyzen Workshop

It has tutorials about how to use Dyzen to create sprites, you also can send me a dm on discord or pm in smwc asking me about that.
