Tip: The No More Sprite Tile Limits patch does NOT increase the limit for the amount of sprites onscreen at once. The SA-1 Pack does.

This is a hack I've been working on for a while, but despite that only one level is complete.
As the title says the name of the hack most definitely will change. (there isn't a theme nor a story, so It's hard to come up with a name)

Here's the title screen:

Aaaandd, here's the only complete level:

Everything visual was made by me, and the tileset was inspired by NSMB.
Awesome! You might want to use a custom block that I encountered somewhere in the blocks section for those cave/fake wall areas.
Also the name is taken by another hack already

Cool looking layout I guess.
Decent level. Introduces some of the new mechanics introduced quite well, kind of a harmless romp. Fits the first world quite well.

I didn't see any blaring design flaws, such as blind jumps, or anything like that.

I do agree that you may want to check out the fake wall block that was pointed out earlier, if there is one. I couldn't find it with a quick glance.

Yep, the name WILL indeed change, BlueToad. I also found (after a lot of searching) the "fake wall block" that you guys were talking about, it turns out it is a part of Noobish Noobsicle's Gameplay Gimmicks From Other Mario Games patch "pack". I'll definitely use it, it looks cool.

I found new music for my hack (New Super Mario Bros. Soundtrack)
I've also discovered HDMA, and I've learned a bit of assembly, so I'll probably make levels look a lot nicer...

Currently I'm making a romhack for my friend, and I've put all of my focus on that project, It's almost done, so I'll get back to my main project (this) soon. (I also got sidetracked by stupid projects like this, I just can't stop myself sometimes...)

..and, Thanks for the feedback! I really appreciate it!
This is the block that I meant but Noobish Noobsicle's version looks better anyway (judging by the screenshots, haven't really tested it).
Edit: I have to mention that Noobish Noobsicle's version kills the background, so you may have to reconsider your choices.

Cool looking layout I guess.
It will be plan B then. If I can't get Noobish Noobsicle's version working I'll use that one. (also it doesn't say it has SA-1 support or not, It's not a big deal since I'm not using SA-1, because I was a dummy, and now I regret it. Again, not a problem, just a thing I noticed..)
I can make it look better by making my own GFX for it (which I'll have to do anyway). Still if it doesn't look as good as the other one, it's still better than nothing.
Thanks for help and feedback, again, BlueToad!
Watched your video.
It looks intriguing. Judging by the fact that this hack has custom logo (although i would recommend change font also) and foreground blocks, it won't be too trivial ...

Yours sincerely,
