I've been thinking that it would be interesting if the extra stages in hard mode had the same enemies as in SMA4 Hard Mode (which is activated with the Red Switch E-Card), for example:
Buzzy Beetle replacing Classic Koopa
Spiny replacing Classic Goomba
Fire Venus Trap replacing Classic Piranha Plant
Here are videos showing this feature:

Essentially what smb did to hard level variants right? I did think about that but that’d require a complete overhaul of the current engine which would take more than a year to not only code but go through every level again in hard mode and redo them so they’re not unbalanced. Then after that there’s getting testers. I’m saying this is the final installment of the hack. Any changes would just be bug fixes if any.

Update 3-24-24
Fixed oversight where sprite dragon coins would display incorrect graphics in e reader levels if all dragon coins hadn't already been collected in the main game, dying no longer vertically scrolls you, added coins in door 5 of Bowser's Castle to hint the player there's a way of safely going through the stage. There's seems to be an oddity in that sometimes collecting a dragon coins will either warp the player down (collecting 3rd coin in main level of Yoshi's Island 4 when the coins are used blocks and you just towards the coin) or your speed temporarily restarts (similar to when running up to Ludwig). I have not been able to recreate the glitches but have seen it happen to other people but each time the emulator was not BSNES. Until someone can replicate this every time on BSNES and or send a log, there's not much I can do.
I'm playing the latest version of the hack and I noticed two bugs:
1: Mechakoopa doesn't disappear after defeat Bowser:
2: I had 99 lives and happened to get "B0" lives in Way Cool after collect 7 Dragon Coins (however, it only happened to me once and I couldn't print the screen)

Did this happen on bsnes? If not can you replicate this on bsnes?
Yes, I'm playing on BSNES.
In relation to the second bug, I decided to do some research and discovered this - https://twitter.com/MarioBrothBlog/status/1103085060721389569

What version are you using? Can you replicate the first bug with the mechakoopa repeatedly? If so what are the steps in order? Does this happen in normal mode, hard mode, or both? I need as much information as possible so I myself can continuously replicate it to try and fix it. If it’s something that randomly happens or you can’t replicate it at will at least more than a third of the attempts there’s not much I can do.
I'm playing the last updated version (3-24-24) and the Mechakoopa bug happened to me in normal mode and is easily replicable (It happened that when I defeated Bowser there was still a Mechakoopa remaining and it didn't despawn as it should)

So to clarify before I start testing, it DOES NOT appear in hard mode? ONLY normal mode?

Update 4-1-24
Ironically this isn't an April fool's joke (really shoulda done something but too lazy). This update fixes the bug matheus153854 mentioned where enemies were not disappearing after Bowser was defeated.
Great hack, however for whatever reason I'm entirely unable to find the secret exit to Donut Secret House. The P-Switch is still active, but the blue door doesn't seem to show up?
I don't know if it's a glitch or if you had just moved it somewhere. I'm on bSNES v115.

I moved it. Quite a bit of secret exits were moved around to encourage exploration since I added more content but in particular the first 3 secret exits to star road were changed so first time players couldn’t just warp to Bowser and it Special world.

it's not a glitch, nieveria. see my solution here (takes a little longer to reach the secret door exit) - read my post there from about 2 years ago

Oh, alright. That's very interesting! I'll keep looking, then!

Update 5-5-24
-Fixed an issue where classic SMB physics would mess up jumps.
-Fixed an issues where fireballs were not going through dirt tiles in Forest of Illusion 2.
hello. I'm in world 3, and when I go to the tube that takes you to the second exit of vanilla secret 1, it takes me to a bonus. Is the other exit in another tube?

Yes, the secret exit has been moved for that level.

Not familiar with the wii scene so I couldn’t say.
