I want to say first off that I love the willingness to redraw all the sprites and just the creativity in a lot of the levels. The first couple levels are borderline standard, but things quickly start ramping up, which I enjoy. One that stands out as just really cool is the Green Shell Palace.
One big thing is that the second overworld, after the first castle, is a very lightly edited vanilla overworld. I highly suggest making your own, though this isn't an immediately rejectable thing. The third overworld is also just a slightly edited Vanilla Dome overworld.
In the level "Verlaten Pizzeria," you can skip a lot of the second half by just holding a shell in the blue Yoshi's mouth and flying to where you need to go. The graphics in this level also make it a little hard to see what's things are, but it's not a huge concern.
In "Ice Capes," you can fly or run over the second half of the level if you ascend through the gap in the ceiling.
The level "Factory Flee" lets you run over the top and skip what seems like a majority of the level.
As a general note, some of the boss fights have tacos as both items you can pick up and throw and sprites that hurt you. The fight in "Het Vieze Kasteel" comes to mind, and there might be another? I don't believe there's a visual difference between these tacos. Ultimately, it's not difficult to differentiate them, as the ones you can pick up last longer, but I wonder if there's an easy way to make them more readily identifiable.
Again, sorry for the delay, and I look forward to the resubmission. Take care.
