Hi, I am new to porting. I am using sheet music instead of FL Studio to transcribe the music. How do you tie notes from the end of one measure to the beginning of the next? The player plays them as two separate notes rather than tying them together. Thanks.
To tie two notes you use the "^" symbol instead of the second note's symbol, for example "c1^1" (not "c1^c1"!).
Right, that works for me within a single measure. However, when I attempt to tie notes across measures, it neglects to acknowledge the tie. For example:
e-4 c8 d-8 r8 < b- r8 a-8^
1

The a flat is supposed to carry from an eighth note to a whole note, but the whole note of a flat does not get played.
Thanks!
Ah I see, the problem here is that the parser is picky so you need to put the length of a note/tie right after it, without any spaces or newlines between. So in this case move the "^" on the second line.
Awesome. Thanks!
