Yes, otherwise we wouldn't be asked to provide the .mwl files and such within the submission .zip.
I used LM 3.00, read the topic: "You're not allowed to use the Horizontal Level Mode function added in LM 3.00. This includes the checkbox for the bottom row of tiles"...(OK). I took all cares and didn’t touch anything about "Horizontal Level Mode of LM 3.00". Would that disqualify my level? [Sorry for my mistakes if I said something wrong in English here. I am learning]
If I understand what you're asking, then if you haven't touched the Horizontal Level Mode section at all, then you won't be disqualified. That is a feature that has to be manually activated, so all you have to do is leave it alone.
Thank You!
I sent my level yesterday, but I would like to change a few things (Example: Final part. it's too long ). Is there any possibility of making changes? Can I cancel what I sent yesterday? Or Once sent, is there no way to modify it?
Ty
It's perfectly fine to update your entry before the deadline! Just update the submission post you already made with a link to the latest version of your level. (There should be an edit button on the top-right corner of your post.)
I've updated my level a few times by just deleting and reuploading it to my filebin. The link stays the same, so I never edited my post. Should I edit it just to make sure or are you redownloading everything anyway?
I will be redownloading everything after the deadline, so don't worry about using the same link.

You're not allowed to edit the Sprite Vertical Spawn Range for horizontal levels, nor can you turn on Smart Spawning.
Just making sure, this is an LM 3.0+ feature, right?

Yes, pretty much.
Yup, hence its exclusion from this contest.
As I said on the Discord, you all have 48 hours to submit your entry! If you've already done so, you should still make sure your entry follows all the rules, and that you submitted everything required in a zip file (or similar archive filetype).
I'm still a rookie at Lunar Magic and getting used to the terminology, so I have several questions while I finish my own submission. I've been using version 3.21, by the way.
1) The subject of palettes have been brought up a couple of times, and the rules say that you can only use the original palette presets. So in other words, this means that it's okay to select any combination of palettes using the dropdowns in the "Level Header Settings" section of the "Palette Editor" window, correct? Just needed a bit of clarification.
2) In the "Change Other Properties" dialog, are you allowed to mess with the options in the "Layer 2 (BG) Initial Position for Relative Method" section? Like change the "BG Height in Tiles" or "Set BG relative to FG only"?
3) If you don't want to use a background, is that allowed? (i.e., Deleting all of the tiles in the "Background Layer 2 Editor" window.) I'm asking because I used the options I talked about in question #2 to make the background "work" with the vertical level I'm making. So if the options mentioned in question #2 are forbidden, I think I would rather have no background than have one that looks off.

You can use level F7 background, It is a empty background.
Sorry I didn't answer your questions sooner. I don't have any problems with what you're asking to do; those all follow the stated rules.
Can I use "Make this level a slippery level" option?
Yup!
Are there any plans for switch palaces in the compilation? I predict there will be levels that might benefit from having them activated, but I'm asking just to be sure, anyway.
Yes, but if possible I'm just going to have them function as on/off switches on the overworld, rather than have them be levels like usual.
