Spend one Brave Point to take an extra action on this turn. Does not consume an action. May be used up to three times per turn.

Use one item from the party's shared item bag.

Swap which row you're currently in. Characters in the back row take half damage from short-range physical attacks, but also deal half damage with short-range physical attacks.

Swap out your current weapon and/or shield for something else in the party's shared item bag. Does not consume an action, but you do need to be able to act to change your equipment.

I told you guys healing before then would have been a good idea.
Come help save Super Mario World Central Production 2 here!
The issue isn't healing, it's that the third battle in the game has two enemies which can inflict a hard disable for 3 rounds before we have any way to deal with it, without any indication we'd be going into an area that would have this kind of status effect.

I healed us at the start of the battle fine, it's basically my only purpose right now.

There's pretty much nothing we could to to avoid this asides from getting really lucky and buying a bunch of anti paralyze items at the start of the game. But even if we picked up anti-status items, there are 12 different ones, how the heck we could have anticipated needing this many of a specific one is beyond me, esp when it's one of the more expensive ones that would eat into our budget.
