Sweet Vanilla by Diego

Description: A remaster of an old hack I made back in 2012 under the same name.

Bowser plans on burning the Princess alive. Mario must set off on another adventure to hunt Bowser down and rescue the Princess once again.

Unfortunately, I have to reject this hack for mainly 3 reasons:

I was playing on BSNESv115, which means that the emulator is extremely precise.

Issues:
- In the overworld fade to level, the closing circle gets messed up, it'll cause a little screen tearing and it'll glitch out, like this
- In levels with tide, the screen will get messed up generating stuff like this
And perhaps, the primary reason for the rejection:
- In level 4-4, once you reach a room with a reset door, upon entering the reset door you are softlocked with no way out other than waiting for the timer to run out. Citing rules:

Alright. Finally got this all collated.

Oddly, this hack does not live up to its name. It's sweet, but sure ain't vanilla. Definitely enjoyed it though.

A general note: you should probably resubmit this as Standard: Normal/Hard. This is not a complete walk in the park.

* 1-4 Monty Molehill
** Music could be louder than other tracks.
* 2-1 Berry Good
** Half a Carrot Coin. Usually caused by scrolling while collecting a Dragon Coin offscreen. Not a big deal.
* 3-🔘 Green Switch
** One tile gap is a little mean. Not really a problem.
* 3-2 Hit That Switch
** P-Switch music doesn't reset when pressing another P-Switch.
* 3-3 Cloudy Puzzle
** Music is louder than other levels.
* 3-5 Mirror Forest
** Not sure there are 5 Carrot Coins. Would double check.
* 3-🏯 Chez Big Spiny
** Not sure there are 5 Carrot Coins. Would double check.
* 4-4 Upward Swim
** Not sure there are 5 Carrot Coins. Would double check.
* 4-6 A Lotta Lava
** Music is loud.
** Carrot Coin can be collected multiple times.
* 5-1 Look Out Below!
** Collecting a powerup leads to a DMA glitch?
* 5-3 Precise Jumping
** Not sure there are 5 Carrot Coins. Would double check.
* 6-2 Mischief Start!
** Can go over the wall.
* 6-4 Moving Parts
** Really dumb softlock.
* 7-3 Stay in Yo Lane
** Not sure there are 5 Carrot Coins. Would double check.
* 7-🏯 Chez Sea Pokey
** Gates cause graphical issues.
* 8-2 Cumulative Test
** Vertical scrolling oddness.
** You can softlock yourself with the scroll here.
* 9-1 Time for Hecky
** Not sure there are 5 Carrot Coins. Would double check
* 9-🏯 Bowser's Castle
** Scroll causes weird corruption. Probably not important.
* 9-🏯 Tower Annex
** Bowser can fall in the lava and the level doesn't end.
* 10-1 Balloon Trip
** Weird line of garbage. Something to do with scroll mode? Probably not important.
* 10-2 Slip and Die
** Can scroll right to cause softlock by bringing the autoscroll object onto the screen.
* 10-3 Don't Dally
** Blue coins turn into blocks that act as coins when P Switch is on.
** Can softlock by scrolling left and bringing the autoscroll object onto the screen.
* 10-5 I Hate Puzzles
** Buzzy Beetle spawns really close to the reset door. Have to hold right not to die.
* 10-? Journey's End
** The death jingle honks at you.
** The game over jingle honks at you too.
