Overworlds have always been your strong point Cars, and you really dealt them justice here. I absolutely love the world 8 submap - looks very refined, well polished, and detailed enough so that it's nice, but not cramped. As for the level screens .. not bad so far. Still seems rather generic and on par with most other hacks to me. I'm sure you have big plans in store for it though, so I'll keep my fingers crossed.

As SNN said, overworld is what you´re best at. But you´re level design is straight out fun and very playable. It is rather generic so far (Again, as SNN said) and It´s wierd how you mix smb3 all star graphics and yoshi's island graphics.

Watch, i made a Super Mario 64 level
This is something I'm looking forward to play, your hack looks cool Cars! I like the style you're using and as the others, I enjoyed the overworld. Your overworld editing skills are incredible, I wish I was as good as you in the overworld...

Back to the topic, I like everything, specially the submap of world 6, even though it isn't done yet. Although I liked the overworld really much, I would like to suggest to make the palette of the desert world less yellow-ish, it's too yellow in my opinion.

This is being workd on. I'm trying some new colors, i hvent come out ith anything i like yet...

New Updates:

If you haven't noticed, this level is quite vast. 2 Directions to go, and you may have to alternate going back & forth! Also, i rip everything myself, if i didnt say that already.
I plan to have a demo ready around SMW C3, since World 1 is almost done(one.five levels left!).

Nice, but the water doesn't look too good blending in completely with the background. I understand you may be going for a clear effect, but at a first glance, the surface of the water looked like some type of rope object. I'd suggest making the water a tad darker so you can differentiate between the two parts.

Also, why is Mario facing away in some screens?

I would assume that is because mario is spin jumping off of enemies at the time of the shot.


I'd have to disagree. Mario probably can't spin-jump because he's in water. You can't spin-jump in water.
I'm not in water in all of 'em. There's not really room to argue here, i just posted some screenies...

Also, I may redesign the OW a tiny bit. I decided not to touch bowsers world, or the desert on the main map. I'm not sure what im gonna do with everything else. The problem with my OW is it's not flexible. I wanna add a few things, and its a bit crammed so i cant do much with it. I'm going to experiment in a new ROM and see what i come out with.

Expect some surprises by November.

The level clip: It looks good, but at the end, the branch gets cut-off. Other than that, it looks fun and interesting.

Screenshot 1: I can see a Mushroom behind the fence-Don't try to trick me... Also, are the red tulip leaves exanimated?
