It's here. At last. And it rocks. It's also insanely difficult.

So far, I've beaten Galaxy Man's stage with a mere three Game Overs. Some pretty awesome teleporters in that. I haven't really beaten a level since then, because most of them have some really ridiculous part where you'll just die non-stop. Difficulty aside, the levels are cleverly designed, though rather unfair at points, and the enemies are unique. I also love the music, especially Galaxy Man's theme and Splash Woman's theme. And how could I forget that five second Game Over loop I hear every 5 minutes or so?

Anyway, discuss it here or something.
From what I've heard you say it seems like Kaizo in Megaman form. Anyways I'll try to get it, since I seem to be getting more money now.
I can buy it if I really wanted to...but I need to know if it's really worth the money. I always had trouble with the old Mega Man games, especially the NES ones. They got a bit more....easier when they reached the SNES...but not by much.

You could almost say it is. However, I'm not an enormous Mega Man player (I really only played MM2 + X1 and X3) so this may be easy by MM standards. However, if this is considered easy, I would really, really hate to see what hard is...

foursword4: I would really recommend it myself. It's a very fun game, and even though I have said it is ridiculously hard, it's the kind of game that if you keep trying at a level, you'll eventually beat it. Plus, from what I'm seen, the bosses aren't just "omgrandomshooting" like a few previous titles have been.
Awesome! I've been waiting for this game to come out! And from what I've heard, the soundtrack is great! I just hope this is as good as Mega Man 2!
I have yet to play another Mega Man game, but I downloaded this today and it is awesome.

I too started on Galaxy Man's stage, and it was the only one I tried besides Splash Woman's. The music is great, and MM9 really feels like a NES game. I still haven't cleared those stages yet, and they're supposed to be the easy ones. D:

No, kaizo is megaman in smw form.
Anyways, i've never played any mega man game before, maby I should buy it.
Hmm...I might just give it a try. It never hurts to have a little challenge, and from what I've heard...it seems to be a pretty decent game.

By the way, how many Wii points does it cost? I can't access my Wii right now to check...
fourside4: 1000, but it's well worth it.

I looked up a short gameplay video and it looks really nice...I think I'll buy it tomorrow:O
I'm actually stuck at Plug Man's stage now. I must say, those appearing/disappearing blocks are total, total pains. Not to mention you have to make said jumps in the dark + with enemies at one point. *sigh*
Jewel sattelite kill most of the ennemy in the level in one hit(including the lil' sparky like thing), so you may want to get it before so you can concentrate only on the block. Plug man seem to have the hardest level of all of them, especially with all those disappearing block.

Capcom seem to have forgot about the 8 sprite per scanline limiation with those swinging platform in jewel man's stage
I just bought it and I must say....it sure is difficult. I seemed to forget how frusterating games were on the NES.

Besides that though...it's still very enjoyable.
Multichaotic Mega Mole: what? you hate the stepping stoens of doom?
I LOVE THEM :3
I hardly ever die on them and i love how innovatively they created the pattern.
also, i must say the boss of the second wily stage is awesome :3

ALSO: you can get 70-80 screws on plugman's stage if you're skilled with the stepping stones :D

I haven't downloaded it myself yet, but I played it at my friend's house today (technically yesterday). Possibly the best Megaman Game EVER!!!

SPOILER: BOSS WEAKNESSES AHEAD - DO NOT READ IF YOU WANT TO FIGURE IT OUT YOURSELF!

Galaxy Man > Jewel Man > Plug Man > Tornado Man > Magma Man > Hornet Man > Splash Woman > Concrete Man > Galaxy Man.

Galaxy man is the easiest first boss, though he takes a while to kill.

Wily Stage 1 Boss - Just used the Arm Cannon
Wily Stage 2 Boss - Just used the Arm Cannon
Wily Stage 3 Boss (Dual Devils) - Gravity Man's weapon is the only way to make it not hard as hell.
Wily 1, part 1 - You can't hurt him yourself, you have to reflect his shots back at him three times AND they have to hit the "face" of his machine to do damage. Arm Cannon is sufficient, though any weapon with a wide attack range will be easier. Biggest challenge is to know when to try to reflect his attacks and when to just avoid them.
Wily 1, part 2 - I haven't been able to beat him, but Concrete Man's weapon is apparently his weakness. Sadly, hitting him with it is hard as hell

Its probably safe to assume theres gonna be another Wily fight since there almost always is.

I've just gotten it! I've been home all week sick with strep throat cold and flu. But at least I have Megaman. Let me tell you, Megaman 3 is my absolute favorite game, ever. It's actually the first game I played. With great gameplay, music, and grafics, and a huge challenge, how can you not like it.

EDIT: 50th post! Horray!
You mean megaman 9? Or maby not.

Anyways, this isn't out here in sweden yet :(.
Anyone knows when it does?
I'm about halfway through, and I'm starting to get the hang of it....somewhat.

Those disappearing blocks in Plug Man's stage are frusterating though:(
Megaman 3 was pretty good, Snakeman being my favorite boss from it.

If you think Plugman has bad disappearing blocks, play Megaman 2, Heatman's stage. Longass segment over an instant death pile of lava with no hope unless you have item 2 (rush jet equivilant).

It's unusual how they've used 8-bit graphics despite it being released on the PS3. They've even added frame-rate glitches. It's very difficult, my brother kept trying the first level and kept failing!
