What the—?! Is Windows 10 about to end for real this time?!

Link to lifecycle status

This can't be! I know it's been 5+ years since the OS was launched, but, oh cruel fate, now we're witnessing the unexpected death of the greatest version of Windows has ever known! (Yes, I know that Microsoft may have said it was the last version of Windows, but they said no—there's actually a new version of Windows, which will be revealed in a few weeks.)

Could this be mean is this the end for Windows 10? What could possibly be?! Discuss.

I doubt it's going to be as groundbreaking as your thread makes it sound, but if there is a full-fledged new Windows version coming, that sounds pretty cool from here. Maybe they'll change the interface to be less of a mix-and-match between classic and modern.

Kind of a clickbait-y thread title, no? Windows 10 isn't exactly "about to end" when the very photo you presented states that the OS will continue to be updated until over four years from now.

That said, I admit that I'm also curious as to what a new Windows OS may look like. I recall seeing Windows 8 for the first time and considering it to be a fairly radical change from XP at the time, though admittedly 10 didn't strike me as a whole lot different after that. I guess that means I'm just interested in whatever the new interface will be, since I can't say there's really anything else that I need/want from future Windows versions.

If W10 is ending as your thread title makes it sound, then I'm not particularly too concerned since my computer is a bit on the heavier side and anything else will lag even more, but we still have plenty of time until Microsoft no longer supports it. I'm undoubtedly curious to see how it's gonna turn out like, especially the interface.

only the client & enterprise editions of Windows 10 are supported until October 2025, which is a little more than 4 years away.

not a big deal to me as I run a recent Win10 LTSC edition, which is supported until Jan. 2029

edit- btw, that new Windows version turns out to be Windows 11 (announced officially on June 24)
Now that Windows 11 is out, it looks like Microsoft has confirmed that they will be stop selling Windows 10 by the end of this month (January 31st, 2023), but however, the said OS will be remain supported with security updates up until October 14 2025. Get it while it lasts, people! This isn't good enough! Hip hip! *whip*
