The current Snifit sprite on the site uses the Pitchin' Chuck ball for the bullet and it's kind of slower and not stopped by walls. I would like a more accurate version of the Snifit for use, and I am sure others do as well. Red (walks off ledges), Blue (stays on ledges) and Grey (short hops in place) variants are necessary. I would prefer them to match other SMW sprites in that they are killable by jump, fireball and cape flick as opposed to rideable or carriable, though if an option allows both to co-exist I am fine with it.

If my understanding of what was said on the discord server was correct, the kind of bullet I want would have to be an extended sprite. I would prefer if the bullet was not destroyable with a cape flick.

Why mot take the bullet from here and make your snifit spawn that instead? You can do so by going into the snifit's code and looking for an 'STA $170B'. Before that line should be an 'LDA #$XX', which should hold the pitchin' chuck's baseball sprite number. Change that number to the custom bullet's (in your PIXI's 'list.txt'). Note that the actual number must be added to 0x13. Oh, and I suggest not using the snifit included within the pack, as it's broken on SA-1. Hope that helps!

I don't know ASM so for all I know what you are suggesting is really easy to do. However, the request is not solely for my own short term use but to be added as a resource for all who feel they want a similarly more accurate sprite to work with. Now if it is so easy that the solution is editing a few things of a pre-existing sprite, then that is an easy point for someone who fulfills requests to take on. I will leave this request open for someone who wants that point.
