This was quite an interesting tune to port, mainly because I had to temporarily fine-tune some spots in the guitars in order to play the pitch bends and vibratos expressively, and the kick drum is done interestingly: White noise for a nanosecond and then sine-wave bent downwards super quickly. I also just couldn't get this song off my head, the guitar work is just so expressive 😂
This is actually insane.
Really well done port as always brick.
Never heard of the track until now, It's very VERY high quality (Of course by the legendary Tim & Geoff Follin).
Edit: Now that I listen to this more closely, It kind of reminds me of Maximum Carnage for some reason.
Also the Xylophone isn't super annoying initially but it can a tad bit annoying if you listen to it for a long time.
This song is a banger, I agree! This port is really accurate to the original material; a solid port. There's not much more to say. You've done a really good job of porting the song, and it sounds really accurate.
And no, the xylophone isn't annoying... at least for me it's not.
Holy...
This is indeed a great banger, really feels like you are at a rally. Job well done at this.Modern Redrawn Mario Bros. 1.5 (last update - February 14, 2023, some new bonus frames, tons of minor touchups to various poses)
On Pixel Art Requests: Depends on what it is and if I have the time for it. If its complex and I don't have the time, don't expect me to accept it.

Love the port of this song! That electric guitar from Battletoads in Battlemaniacs is really neat and works well for the song. Good work, brickblock!Unfortunately, I'm not very active on the site anymore like I was before; I'm mainly on Discord now. Thanks for understanding.
This sounds insanely good and I honestly would not believe it only runs on 8 channels. Well done my friend!
Yooo, brickblock at it again, bringing the banger songs as usual. Fantastic port. I heard you had a lot of trouble figuring this one out, but anyway, the final result is worth it.
Oh nice! The world could always use more Tim Follin.
I don't find the xylophone annoying, but is it supposed to be a xylophone in the first place? It kinda sounds like it's being used as a cowbell to me.
Damn this bangs! Great port brick!
I personally do not find the Xylophone annoying Art by @ScoottheBat
This is amazing

LAYOUT FOOTER:
Incredibly clean, as expected. If anyone were to ask me I never would've guessed that this was a SNES port based on how real it sounds. Outstanding work.
Thanks so much, you guys

True, if there's a "tick tick tick" sound in a rock-hard tune, then typically it's expected to be a cowbell.
Considering how Super Off Road uses the (mostly?) default SNES SDK samples, and an actual cowbell even is available in there (well it's more agogo... but still, close enough), it puzzles me why the Follin brothers used a xylophone.
Oh snap, this sounds dope! Very epic brickblock! -The Man At Games
Guitar samples that actually sound good?!?!?! This port is insane, huge congrats man!I suck at ASM and AMK
Dannng dude! I never heard a guitar in a port that sounded this good! Couldn't imagine how much time and effort was put into this absolute banger! Awesome work as always Brickblock!
Brickblock, this is probably your best port until now
this song is an ABSOLUTE banger. Also, this is extremely accurate too, i didn't find missing notes or anything, outstanding port!
Brickblock369, I just wanted to say that your one of my favorite composers out there! You are seriously underrated! And this port shows it! You seriously should be nominated as best C3 music thread!
Thanks everybody! And yeah, those guitars are so well-recorded, kudos to the composers for using it well
Electric Guitars make everything better.
Seriously how long did this take you to port and get all the samples sounding as clean as you've made them?
Samples are easy as they're from an SPC. How long it took me to make the port? At least a week and a bit more, I think.
