Samples are easy as they're from an SPC. How long it took me to make the port? At least a week and a bit more, I think.
Quick Reply. That's really impressive that you made it that quick.
Honestly more Follin ports are what we truly need in this world.
How this is really good, I love the heavy bass and the doom vibe it has.

This is so fucking good but oddly enough what does it for me is that kick! Really nice and punchy! These are the first distortion guitar samples I've heard done well in an SPC, nice work! Love the mixing and pan choices.
I saw you post some progress of this on sneslab, really cool port! I can def see how much effort you put into this, the end result is pretty good.
Thanks everyone!

Kudos to the Follins for these stuff
This sounds fantastic! Not at all familiar with this game, but this is a definite jam. No surprise to see that it was made by the Follins lol. Very, very lovely C:
An absolute banger indeed! I haven't heard this song before but it absolutely rocks! Nice job!
I'm actually really mindblown that this hadn't already been ported. A jam like this, from one of the greatest retro composers of all time?
Great work porting this brick. Every song from the Follin brothers needs to be ported eventually.Twitter

I think so too, though I know they're frequently quite challenging to do >_<
We need to port more Rock 'n Roll Racing as well
SMW's guitar can only dream of ever sounding like this. A super catchy port! I barely know the first thing about porting but it absolutely does not seem easy to make something sound this good, given the limitations of the SNES and SPC700.
This is insanely good. The guitars are of extremly high quality (I see you switch between two samples for your #2 and #3), and I also find the way you do GAIN here unusual but very interesting (it is GAIN, right? I don't know much about it).
A really excellent job.
Thanks! And yes, I'm using gain for most of the volume control, as the original SPC did it that way too. I only used volume fades at times because they were the fades that rely on the song's tempo (as the original SPC rapidly changed direct gain values and in AMK that would be very unoptimal), and gain fades are not measured in the song's tempo, but measured in real-time... which are only useful for attack/release effects of instruments.
