Light vs Darkness

The conflict that has plagued humanity for ages, the struggle between good and evil. There is no victory.
Darkness is cunning, but it can never defeat light
Light is peaceful, and although it cannot defeat darkness, it can drive it away. Light and darkness do not mix and this truth creates endless wars.
Darkside 2 continues the story of Mario on his journey against darkness, it has returned and is stronger than ever!

This hack brings a good dose of chocolate, very gimicky and challenging.

- No secret exits
- Mainly short levels
- Lots of custom stuff, including own ASM

Lenght: 8 Exits
Difficulty: Intermediate

This hack also have a lot of QoL patches and other improvements including the X Speed Oscilation Fix.

It looks amazing, I remember seeing this hack on katun's stream. The plot is also creative and reminds me of Star Wars lol.

You've improved quite a lot in aesthetics, Insanit. It's noticeable how you evolved your style compared to the first Darkside. Also, a small spoiler, read at your own risk:

I really loved how you made the final stage to be based in Zelda A Link to the Past

Overall, congratulations in finishing this hack. I hope people give it a chance. Looks very fun and tough.

You improved a lot! I really liked the title screen, it looks like you put a lot of effort into this hack. My skills with kaizo isn't that great but i'll try later.

I've sorta been keeping a close look at some of your work, and I'm proud of how far you've gotten, Insanit. Gave this hack a quick whirl and you really nailed it with the level design.
I'd nitpick about how you can subvert the boss in stage 4 by repeatedly hopping onto the bullets without landing on the donut blocks, so maybe you could decrease the bullet shooter's timing a bit?

Nevertheless, I enjoyed myself a lot, and I'll be sure to stay in touch with future updates and hacks. Awesome job, friend~!

There's a vanilla bullshit envolving bullets and throw blocks breaking randomly, it's just impossible have consistency. Gonna consider increasing shooter's delay.

Or just use the normal vanilla shooter instead, that's much better.
