I remember thinking how to add extra Switch Palace switches a long time ago, here's my answer. The up pipe also looks pretty funny, I can see it being used in some hack that makes fun off of tough up pipes in kaizo hacks. :p
I totally agree with Ezel's comments on the up pipe, it's pretty funny!
Plus 56 switch palaces is an insane amount. I hope it gets used creatively in the future!

These switch palaces are very cursed indeed. A blessing for the craziest smw hackers.

Hey! What's this about more switch palaces? I'm super excited!

Eeeeee~

That pipe is cursed indeed lol~ #smrpg{mlem}

Very interesting variety of resources you have here. One of the things I liked the most in R-ACK was the custom asm, so it's cool to see some of it here. I'm sure the Switch Palace expansion will be very useful for people, while I hope no one will use the RNG up pipe, oh lord
With the extra switch palaces ASM does that mean it is now possible to make a vldc2 compilation hack, or add an extra switch palace to the vldc11 compilation hack.
As I had to play through the giant switch palace level in R-ACK when I made my any% TAS of the game (and couldn't find any way to make it quicker), I fear those switches.

All of the ASM stuff is pretty neat, and that RNG pipe... is something, to say the least. I could see some cool (and mean) things being made utilizing your ASM stuff. Good work!
These stuff are so good that even  Mr. Switchy replied!

NEW RELEASES! Sorry for the delay, I've just been busy! Anyway, partnering up with Mellonpizza, I've released the "Metroid Escape Sequence Timer" used in Krack The Hack along with the scrolling from R-ACK's "The Camera Man Is Drunk!". Enjoy the goods!

Also thank you all for the generous words, especially towards the RNG Up Pipe. Also thank you Mr. Switchy for posting here, I did you proud with all these switch palaces!

Last day additions are the best!! Your resources are really cool, and definitely want to use them in future projects, especially the Metroid Escape Timer! Congrats again Daizo!
Finally, threatening escape sequences. I also love the vertical displacer stuff. Now that's some great power you have given to us. Thank you so much for the fun stuff.#smrpg{:O}
the drunk camera is like the fuzzy enemy from yoshi's island or the penquin enemy from wario land 2 that makes things go all shakey, wonder if the extra switch palace asm will be used to finish a vldc2 or vldc11 collab or used in a bits and pieces sequel from levelengine.
That Pipe one is super cursed. How come its coded so oddly in the original SMW? Is it how the game checks which blocks Mario is in contact with on a given frame?
I really like the Metroid styled timer as I can see it having a lot of interesting uses. The other ASM like the ON/OFF Directions and Drunk Camera look like a lot of fun in how they can mess with the player.

These are some really solid pieces of ASM so well done Daizo! #smrpg{:D}

the best one though is the extra switch palace asm that maybe could be used in vldc collabs to finish them.
Another idea to use that many switch palaces: Impossible Lair - styled final level. It`s otherwise obnixious difficulty can be reduced, one hazard at time, by switch palaces, scattered around the world.
It looks like I'm going to be see sick. LOL

I hope someone makes something really great out of these.

you know what that's actually probably the best use of this.

Vertical displacer stuff is definitely something to mess around with, as I believe they can add a whole new layer to level designing. Could even combine it with metroid timer, who knows?

Basically not only is it tracking which frame it's considered "enterable", but it's whatever frame is safe + the random number it generates every time Mario fails to enter. It's basically impossible to know when you're able to enter it, which gives it it's full "randomness".

That's it for C3, thank you so much for all the generous comments. There is one thing that I will mention before the forums close, which for some of you still awake, this might be interesting to know.

I have actually hid a puzzle inside of "This Hack Has Every Switch Palace Switch". Nobody has solved it without me hinting it yet. Can you find the true ending?
