You may have recalled this thread once upon a time - while I regrettably was unable to get to every single request by now, I've at least got to 9 so far (both drafts and completed)

I'm also without much spare time this weekend (of all weekends!), so I can't even upload everything I've made so far in one go - please bear with me and enjoy what I've got so far!

I'm curious to see if you are capable of doing a library tileset

A good number of these still need finishing touches and extra exgfx files for details that couldn't fit to be ready for uploading - feel free to drop any thoughts about what they need and what could be fixed. Critique is always welcome!

Four more to go - I hope you look forward to them, and that you have a great C3!

Other Submissions of mine!
I absolutely adore what you've done with these tilesets, Deeke! What you've shown me in DMs look absolutely fantastic! #smrpg{<3}

...and that's all I'll say for now. ;)
Unfortunately, I'm not very active on the site anymore like I was before; I'm mainly on Discord now. Thanks for understanding.
These are some real good sets Deeke. I see these having good use and also are of quality to boot.
Modern Redrawn Mario Bros. 1.5 (last update - February 14, 2023, some new bonus frames, tons of minor touchups to various poses)

On Pixel Art Requests: Depends on what it is and if I have the time for it. If its complex and I don't have the time, don't expect me to accept it.

Projects I support:

Oooooh, these are super neat! Can't wait for these finished products real, real soon.

Keep up, Deeke!

They all look amazing I love what you did with the candy tileset the variety of sweet things

You are challenged by Champion Daisy!

LAYOUT FOOTER:
These look pretty neat! The library and candy sets are particularly eye-catching due to the amout of detail, but the remaining sets are looking pretty solid as well.
I love the details in these! Plus it's nice to have level theming beyond default Mario stuff.

I think that library one is my favourite. Gives me ideas for a hack where all the ghost houses are different kinds of haunted buildings.
completely in love w the library set - definitely interested in utilizing it if you choose to release it soon. such good good vibes.

all of them r of top notch quality though, the pagoda is mad cute too.
These are absolutely gorgeous, I love the spaceship and hot damn that is a wonderful library set. Really well done on them. Your style is really detailed and I really like all of these.
Can't wait to see this spaceship tileset fully done. It looks so amazing. I won't lie, though, the pagoda one stole my heart too. It looks incredible gorgeous and awesome. All the tilesets have a great quality, overall and, I don't mind waiting more for then, because, oh boi, you sure deliver some great pixel art tilesets. #smrpg{<3}

And the second half of some proper tilesets!

What a fun one! Having everything be monochrome isn't that bad when it means you have a huge gradient to play with.

A saltflat tileset would be cool.

Turns out: very difficult to make specifically salt without also making it snow, even with giant crystals added. So now it's a twofer!

Could you make a tileset based off of the Wooden Kingdom from Super Mario Odyssey?

What's a Wooded Kingdom without woods? This still needs a whole lot of greenery before it's done, but this on its way.

And lastly for this C3:

Uh, you might notice this one being reeeal polished - Falconpunch himself dedicated some of his own time making backgrounds for this and was being cheeky with that winky face of his because, well, look at this.

Some of these are ready to be submitted to the site as-is, but in due time I'll be uploading everything so far to this thread, for anyone who wishes to tool around with the graphics.

I am utterly blown away by every single set. It’s not often I get the sudden burst of inspiration to wanna make levels from something I’ve just seen, but goodness, I’m excited to eventually get my hands on these.

You also have me wanting to go out and improve my own artistic skill. Your attention to detail is astounding, and definitely an inspiration.
Originally known as A Yoshi (2006-2009), Aquifer (2010-2011), and Azurik (2012-2014).
All of them look really good, but if I had to pick my favourites, I would pick white palace and cloud tileser, I like them a lot!
These look amazing! Good job, Deeke!
The White Palace tileset looks so freaking good, I love how accurate it looks despite the SNES limitations.

This is so beautiful! I liked how it turned out. Keep up the good work, Deeke!

I do like these tilesets. My faourite is the candy tileset and the tileset from Wooden Kingdom.

I just hope you started my factory-dimension tileset.

All of these look great! Love how the cloud, library, and saltflat tilesets look! Also love the White Palace tileset too ofc, looks pretty accurate!
Just going to say that Deeke's screenshot of my request with the background I made doesn't include the HDMA gradient that goes with the background to complete the aesthetic. It looks like this:

Either way, I'm great you finished all of these tilesets, Deeke!

The pagoda and the wooden kingdom are my personal favourites.
I think the wooden one will come in handy for a wide number of purposes.

Can't wait to see what else do you have, I remember submitting a request too, which probably still is in the to-do list #smrpg{y}

thanks for bringing this superb content to life.
Sorry for being quiet outside of posting my own things - lemme respond to some o youse

I feel like it's not quite finished until I can make it irresponsibly varied, like out of the original Rayman games crossed with Zool or something. If you have just a couple of things, then it quickly gets a bit samey when multiple hacks use it.

It's a relief that the Library could stand out so much, since that one was definitely the trickiest to start. I was thinking it was done at this stage, but on second thought, it could probably use some other library elements like desks or light sources.

Oh, and I'm glad that the pagoda ended up looking mad cute Idol, because arranging the map16 for the thing was extremely unsexy and a good reminder of how quickly things can explode in complexity, especially when you're neurotic and want graphics handy for any possible state your tiles could be in.

Thanks for the request! It was definitely the one I was looking forward to fulfilling the most before I started anything. Might I ask why you settled on this area in particular?

Fortunately it had been started at least, though the clock was ticking on C3 and I had to focus on prettying up other requests instead of showing something that was too much of a rough draft.
It's something I'm looking forward to, though! A lot of Sci-fi themed hacks could definitely find some use for it.

You requested a western village type of tileset, didn't you? I'd imagined something like this, which is basically the entire list of foreground western tilesets so I can see why you'd request it.
