Stuff I found on my laptop (part 2)

MusicSuper Mario WorldResource Release

hi, again

I didn't have anything else planned besides the Retry thing, but since I gathered a few unreleased ports over the year I might as well show them off here. Only SPCs for now, as they're meant to be used for super top secret stuff :P

(some songs may be louder than others, I warned you)

The zip contains:
  • The Flintstones (SNES) - Staff Roll
  • EEK! The Cat - Final Rescue
  • EEK! The Cat - The End
  • Spiderman and the X-Men: Arcade's Revenge - Spider
  • Mario Party DS - Contemplation
  • Jester - Elysium
  • Jaguar XJ220 (Amiga) - Title
  • Fury of the Furries (Amiga) - Lagoon
  • Sonic 3 & Knuckles - Lava Reef Zone 1
  • Sonic 3 & Knuckles - Launch Base Zone 1
  • Super Bomberman 5 - Old Worlds

You may have already heard some of these on my Youtube channel (random shameless plug yay)

bye
I'd never thought a Flintstones game on the SNES could have such groovy music. I guess I shouldn't be surprised, as it brought us that wonderful unused track.

Also, I love your port of Mario Party DS - Contemplation! It's so close to how it was in the original game, and MPDS was my first Mario Party game ever owned! #smrpg{<3}
Unfortunately, I'm not very active on the site anymore like I was before; I'm mainly on Discord now. Thanks for understanding.
All these ports are fantastic! I like the Jester - Elysium & Fury of the Furries (Amiga) - Lagoon #smrpg{<3}

Amazing ports! My favorite is "EEK! The Cat - The End".
Damn the bangers, dude! Those are really impressive ports, with a really impressive effort put on them!
I wonder how much did it take porting all of those songs, considering the complexity the songs here ported, including Evans and Follin ones...
Either way, such a jam listening to your ports! #smrpg{cool}
Smh I was expecting Grand Dad theme, but those are some very nice ports KevinM!
Also, didnt know more people knew Eek the Cat, it's a very obscure snes game.
Kirbo was here
Thanks for the kind words!

Usually just a few days, but maybe with a lot of hours per day (I don't really keep track lol). I remember for the Spider port I did one channel per day, so in 5 days it was finished (although each of them took a fair bit of work to get it right).

Finishing each channel in a day?? That's some good attention span, man, considering how the song is quite long.

Thanks, lol, I set that as a goal so I could get it done rather quickly. Also focusing on a single channel at a time helps you not get overwhelmed by the overall complexity of the song. For example I remember making the Gambit port in a rather non-linear way, jumping through channels, and it took me way longer also for that reason.
I'm kinda digging a few of em, especially the title theme from Jaguar XJ220.

spider, final rescue and the flintstones are my favorite

the rest are good too
eek! the ports are sexy as fuck. having known what some of these songs are going towards, i'm excited for their respective projects to be released. and gee do i love that eek the cat the end port, haha, 🤐
I've updated the zip to include a couple ports I had forgotten about:
  • Sonic 3 & Knuckles - Lava Reef Zone 1
  • Sonic 3 & Knuckles - Launch Base Zone 1
  • Super Bomberman 5 - Old Worlds

ok bye for real this time
I know Launch Base Zone is based off of tssf's SPC, but I really don't think the two squarewaves' pitch gap for the chorus effect should be that big... it really sounds weirdly detuned rather than making a good chorus effect.
That Lagoon track is really funky. Loving it. #smrpg{<3}

Quite the varied selection of ports and they all sound so good. I quite like Launch Base and the EEK! ports too.
