A collection of ports (SPCs) - Vote for your favourites for release!

Hi. I know I'm walking in the shadow of giants here, but I've decided to showcase a collection of ports I've worked on over this year so far. These are just the SPC's. Some are still WIPs, but most are complete. The volumes are all over the place so sorry about that, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. They are mostly from the old amiga tracker days, original compositions by the old amiga tracker/demo scene crew. Unfortunately due to their age, some information is unavailable about them (mostly unknown composers), but I'll do my best to attempt to be comprehensive with crediting the artists. There's some good stuff in here (I hope)!

You can vote for your faviourites for which ones you would like to see released! the top 3 will (assuming they get accepted, I'm kinda bad with optimising my stuff...) get released here on SMWC!

2. Unknown - Bionix Theme


This is a wildly out there jungle/breakcore/drum and bass tune. Probably not for everyone, you've been warned!
3. Ctrix - All The Mega Basses


A fantastic tune, maybe fit for a castle or something, I don't know. Its good though
4. Unknown - Demon's Revenge


This is a silly, almost circus like tune.
5. Unknown - Escape


My first port request, and my first port of actual video game music! - requested by le4che
6. Matt Simmonds - Flying Dutchman - Spongebob Squarepants SuperSponge


Another Ctrix banger, this ones not as out there, but equally good in its own way.
7. Ctrix - Futureworld


I named this something stupid and as a result can't find any info, silly me. This ones a real thigh slapper (EDIT: thanks containercore for the song info!) (KKonaW.spc)
8. Earl Scruggs And Friends - Foggy Mountain Breakdown


A pretty hard techno tune, now in spc format.
9. Unknown - Recall


Another actual video game port, this is a take on Mega Man 2's Wily Castle.
10. Wily Castle - Mega Man 2


Another tune with a name thats really more of a description so I can't find any info. I love this one, its super spoopy.
11. Unknown - Unknown (Spooky Background.spc)


This one is very 80's sounding synthwave sorta style. Another personal fave
12. Twins - Starter


No words needed for this one.
13. Big Jim / Valhalla - Waterfnk


This is a powerful piece. Not sure if this is really mario music, but damn it kicks you in the feels. This one isn't finished (you can probably tell from the kinda glitch sounds in the fake echo)
Non the less, it might prompt me to fix it if it gets voted for.
14. Melo'dee - Whales forever

So, I've counted votes and we have the winners! I've only counted obvious votes, mentions of songs without explicitly leaving a list or mentioning the word vote or want released the song is a catJAM or slapps hard or something haven't been counted. I hope thats fair!

Wily Castle - Mega Man 2's choir sample really needs to be fine-tuned downwards quite a bit, the tuning isn't matching well at all.
Also, where is the SPC of Twins - Starter?

oh i am completely in love with this ctrix port, it's off the shits. i would absolutely use it were it released,,,

i also hugely vibe with the demon's revenge song, as well as twins starter. bops hard as fuck

Definitely the latter MiracleWater. It do be slappin' though.

Demon's Revenge should definetely be released. Along with Wily Castle 3 - 4 from Mega Man 2. Fantastic job at these compositions.

I suck at ASM and AMK

While it’s a nice idea, I kind of like having a bank of exclusives on hand in case people want them for hacks so they can have something unique. I very rarely do requests in general and even then it’s mostly for people I know, if I have time, if like the tune, depending on the current direction and speed the winds blowing, the current value of doge coin, you know the usual factors. So having some unreleased stuff on reserve is a handy way to provide people with my stuff if they are interested.

I may well release more of these down the line, but right now I’m gonna stick with the 5 that placed.
