Yep, this is why I, Klug
, have a hard finding all of the eight switches during C3, especially during my free time. Y'know, it's been FIVE
(yes, five!) years since I've joined this wonderful website, and now I have something for you... to spice up your message box dialogues (and to full extent, cutscenes). Without further ado, I will present unto thee...
Klug's C3 Font Pack
In this majestic archive, five different fonts from different sources make their way to freedom, adding some spice to your dialogues. Take a look at some of them!
Pop Joy 8x8
This is a port of Doormat
's pixelized version of Pop Joy
, used in Paper Mario
games since The Thousand Year Door
. Includes both for message box dialogues and for pre-credits cutscene.
The Great Giana Sisters
The original font included only UPPERCASE letters, but then I discovered a TrueType font called Giana
by KreativeKorp (which contains custom lowercase letters and symbols), I decided to put all the labor and make a font based on it. If the numbers don't the fit the line between the letters, I also made a version with alternate numerals, so they can fit well not just for letters, but for the OW map as well:
Fire 'N Ice/Solomon's Key 2/Solomon no Kagi 2: Coolmint Kyuushutsu Sakusen
Take note that some glyphs were drawn and/or taken from various games. For example, the number sign (#) was taken from Knuckles Chaotix
Arkanoid: Doh It Again
Ever wanted to use a pretty-lookin' computer font for sci-fi themed hacks? Well, wait no longer. So come brick it, (scout of) commander Therle!
The Guardian Legend
Gu gu gu~! Last but definitely not the least is the font from one of COMPILE's greatest shooters ever (if not better, that is)! Any my favorite of all five! Bayoen! (NOTE:
Randar or Carbuncle not included.)
Btdubs, this font is also used in WayForward's Shantae
, along with a few modifications.
These five fonts will be submitted, separately, to the Graphics section once C3 ends, and I can guarantee you will like it! I hope you'll like it. But here's one big thing:
Have fun and enjoy your last hours of C3, fellow students!
