This is a fun little demo. Looking forward to a full release.

* Elephant in the room:
** There's something going awry with your HDMA stuff on more accurate emulators/flashcarts. It works fine in Snes9X and Mesen-S, but has background color changing issues in bsnes/higan and when using an SD2SNES.

* Deep Dunes S:
** Softlock here.
** The hud seems to get messed up in this level? The timer looks to have moved down a row.

* Minor stuff:
** Demo Screen: Music doesn't loop
** Trix Castle #1: Can scroll up high enough to see all the nothing above the level.
** Yellow Switch Palace: There's a really really really dumb soft-lock possibility here if you kill both turtles and spin jump all the blocks. Don't feel pressured to fix this.
** If you have grabbable sprites near a pipe, the player can take them through the pipe and sometimes end up with a different sprite. It's a really minor thing, but something to keep in mind.
** Slope issues: There's a construction for slopes that kinda results in Daisy's momentum getting clipped. You should check for this in more than just this spot.
** Slope issues 2: Similarly, you can walk through slopes sometimes if they're not constructed correctly. You should check for this everywhere, but this is an example.
** Daisy doesn't seem to want to use her ducking while holding a shell sprite, whereas both Peach and Roselina have no problem using that sprite while holding nothing. I wonder if you got a bit of logic backwards here.
** The group seems to pile up in one spot after you hit a message box. This might be because your follower asm is looking at the wrong frame timer. Dunno.
** You probably should find someone to copy-edit your text in the game. Some of it is a little confusing.
