Heyyyy folks. If there's one thing you should know about me, it's that I am an artist and a storyteller above all else. I write and draw comics and general fan art, no small amount of which is heavily Homestuck-related, as a way of pursuing my creative passion. I even have my own original story in the works, though more on that way later.

For the time being, I'll showcase some stuff I've already done. I've got tons of works to boot, so I'll probably just upload them bit by bit as my mood dictates.

To start, here's an example of a short comic, related to this very site no less! (specifically SMWCP2)

Feedback always appreciated! :D
Hey there, welcome to SMWC! Is that a complete recreation of the SMWCP2 cutscene, text and all? It's been a while since I last saw it.

There's a lot to like about your comic! I'm a fan of the pacing, you nailed the facial expressions, and Frank is very well-drawn, easily my favorite of the three as far as drawing goes. The outlines there are really smooth and dynamic (and I think that same treatment might do the speech bubbles some good too). Mario seems a little sloppily drawn in contrast, especially the very small feet (though maybe that was a conscious decision, you do you).

Have you ever ventured into digital art, or drawing the final linework with a pen? It's pretty clean as it is already, but I think getting rid of some of the eraser smudge would be a more or less quick win.

Keep it up! #smw{:TUP:}

Hey, thanks so much for the feedback! I'm especially glad you like my lining, as that's the part I feel I most struggle with. I do my best to get it as clean-looking as possible, much to my escalating frustration. Fact is I get so bent up over just how precise everything has to look that I'll get stuck on a certain panel if I don't eventually say "good enough" and move on. Hence why some proportions and other things may seem off. I'm essentially speed-drawing, or at least teaching myself to.

This fact is particularly true with my longer-form comics. I come up with stories so long that they often end up requiring hundreds upon hundreds of panels, so if I don't do the speed thing then I run out of steam faster than you can say "aw man I wish this project was finished." To my recollection the longest I ever did was 1,700 panels exactly. So...yeah.

However, I actually DO dabble in digital art! Just not as often, as it requires so much more effort out of me, especially with coloring. That's why I usually stick to one-off drawings with lots of detail when going digital. I'll likely post an example of that very soon!
As I said before, here's an example of my digital work.

Hope you like!
Better post some more art methinks. Here are some sketches depicting the three final battles of Mario & Luigi: Dream Team!
