Description: First try port of my favorite boss song from Loop Hero. blinch did great with the sound design; but it's my first port, so I couldn't quite mirror the sounds.

Could be great for a final area leading up to a boss or mini-boss fight. Could also work in a fast paced switch palace.

Criticism and suggestions are welcome.

This is a pretty close attempt but there's some room for improvement:

For the percussion instruments @21 to @29 (therefore excludes @10), for it to play the correct pitch consistently, you either have to constantly add the instrument call for each note, or set it as a custom instrument in #instruments{}, as there are some moments where it plays the wrong pitch (and an extremely low one) when the following note doesn't have the instrument call right next to it. Don't worry about using more space when constantly adding with these instruments calls specifically, as these specifically don't affect the size.

You could recall some sections, like recalling some sections in #2, and recalling one section from #0 into #1 (but considering how the part in #1 is an octave higher than #0, you'll have to temporarily apply $FA$02$0C to the recalled section, and then when it ends, apply $FA$02$00 to zero out the transposition) See this section of this thread, about labeled loop brackets and loop recallers.

I found this section in #0 and #1:
Code
d+f+>b<d+f+>b<d+>b<d+f+>b<d+g>b<d+g

When the pitch goes to b, it's not supposed to be an octave higher.

The droning bass appears starting from 0:40, but not appearing in places before, you should place them in other places as well. Plus, it might be better to have the droning bass be an octave lower.

Lastly, please lower the global volume, as it's pretty louder than the average local song - if the SFX are just audible enough while the song is playing, that's when the global volume is good enough.

Now, the optional suggestions:
-As you asked in this thread, you were looking for sample recommendations - yes, @8 is kind of mellow and clean for this type of tune, I recommend using @14 for the entirety. If you want more instrument variety though, @4 with nearly zero attack in the ADSR might work.
-To emulate the cymbal, it might be better for @2's octave to be o6, in order to make it piercing. Other suggestions would be using white noise or rapidly playing @22s.
