As the one who lead R-ACK, even tho I can't join development for this, I am happy to see more hacks go on the route of "throw whatever at the wall". Good luck!
There is one thing I'll say about R-ACK: our aim wasn't to create a frustrating experience, or at least not entirely focused on that. We had a lot of good levels in there, and the ending sorta reflects that a fair bit. YUMP (well, more YUMP2) is made to explore all the good ideas that come with having no limitations. So it's interesting seeing a hack that dives to the more frustrating half of the "yumplike". There's an audience for this kind of thing, so this is a good direction to make your collab stand out.
